I have used this facility on just a few occassions to provide care services for my husband and much needed 'respite' services for myself. I am full-time employed outside the home & the primary caregiver for my 53 yr old husband, who was diagnosed with ADEM, a neuro-muscular disorder, in 2002. His condition requires full-time attention & assistance with all ADL's, as he is unable to stand, walk, feed or dress himself. Finding capable facilities for his level of care, are a challenge to say the least. The administration & staff at this facility are caring & compasionate individuals who have been a blessing for me, in providing full-time care services for the few times that I could actually take a break from the stress & craziness that exists in my every day life.

STAY AWAY!!! My mom lived here for 5 years. At first it was ok but with covid and no visitors, the place really went downhill. I was allowed to stay with my mom when she was in hospice care. Room was filthy, bathroom disgusting. Dried feces on the floor and toilet. Dried blood on the floor. My moms oxygen tank was empty, causing her difficult breathing on her last days. Unable to get her pain medicine as she was dying. I’m left feeling extremely guilty when mom passed knowing she was in this situation. Administration really uninterested and non communicative. Take your loved one somewhere else

Richboro rehab is a 5 star facility. Small, 82 bed building, with a home type setting. Semi private and private rooms. A higher than average staff to patient/ resident ratio. Come for a private tour.

Understaffed, and the Unit Manager and Social Services employees are uncommunicative and uncaring. My son was a patient and we had nothing but problems with Richboro Rehab.

Our Father was at this care center for a while, and a family member visited him everyday, so we closely witnessed the levels of care to him and other residents. Richboro deserve much praise for the level of attention and kindness their staff gives. From the initial phone call answered by the facility manager, I was given a level of warmth not felt on other calls. Richboro is located in a small older bldg. on a peaceful residential street. While it does not have the eye popping amenities some places have, they make up for this is excellent care provided by gentle staff, right down to the food service helpers. Reality is most elderly in long term care /or rehab are not making use of the amenities they way more ambulatory, younger folks might. What you are looking for is high quality, attentive care. When your loved one presses their call button is it answered swiftly, respectfully, lovingly? When you express a health care concern how they respond? At Richboro, the Staff checks the rooms frequently. Example, our father's roommate was sleeping in his wheel chair, when a staff member walking in the hallway noticed he was not positioned correctly in the chair. That person stopped and fixed the situation immediately. Our father rates the service as "excellent" "great food" they "come when he rings for them" he has no complaints. When I queried other residents I got similar responses, "great care, no complaints". I visited several other places that were larger & fancier. But their atmosphere was not warm, and you did not see many staff around. But at Richboro there are always staff available, ready to respond to any need. I would highly recommend it for rehab or long term care.

My dad is in Richboro Rehabilitation, and he decided to stay there. It is a nursing home. They have two beds to a room so he has a roommate, but it is OK. They have bingo, and they do a lot of activities. I love the staff. They are super nice. They do a really good job with my father in maintaining his medications and doctor's appointments.
