I found an assisted living home and I just moved in. This is a great place and it's called Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care. They have beautiful small units. I'm in a one-bedroom apartment and I get three meals a day. I get assistance whenever I needed. Right now, I'm sitting down in my one-bedroom apartment, and I can't get up. There's a cord I can call, and they'll help me get up and get over to the bed. They're friendly, too. There is a nice fridge, a microwave, a sink, a walk-in shower, closets for clothes, room for a bed, a chair, and a couple of tables. There are levels and I'm at the top level, which is the most expensive. These levels are going from four down to one, one being the least expensive where you can take care of yourself mostly, and four is me, who's just out of two months in the hospital and I need all the service I can get. I would recommend this. It's an awful lot of money, but it's worth it. It's comparable to other facilities around this part of the country. They're all pricey.

Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care is nice as far as assisted living. But for one with dementia and Alzheimer's, as it progresses, I don't feel that it has the right service. They don't have a separate memory care unit. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice. I got to see one room. The person had just moved out because they had not got it cleaned up and repaired for someone to move in. I only saw one size of a room and it was nice. I didn't like where the dining room and the recreation were. They were there when you first walked in the door. They also have a theater there.

Westbrook cared for my grandmother and they were truly caring and compassionate to her needs. They had vibrant activities to keep her busy and her mind sharp. The staff truly loved her like we did. My grandmother was very happy at Westbrook during her stay until she passed away. We could not have been happier with the care she received. The family was always welcomed and treated like family. I was so impressed with this community that I started working for them. I wanted to be a part of something absolutely great!

My Aunt has been living at Westbrook Assisted Living & Memory Care In Upper Sandusky, Ohio since 2005. There is No Where in the world she could have ever gotten any better care! She has never had a bed sore & she has been bedridden all these years!

I am not impressed, the kitchen manager is also the activities director, the food quality is getting worse. Maybe she should concentrate on one area that benefits the residents that pay "alot of money per month to live there. Not because she likes to do both. Also quit treating the residents like their 3 yr olds at exercise class and stop the nursury rhymes thing. Look up some "grown-up" things on google that other facilities do. Management needs to care more about the elderly paying there rent than their own paychecks

My Mother & also my Mother-in-law are residents of Westbrook Assisted Living, & I highly recommend it. I am thankful for their care & for the kindness of all of their staff. Not only to my family, but also to me when I have concerns & questions about my Mom's health. She needs more care than my Mother-in-law does, but they have been so good to both. I have had meals with Mom, & the food has always been good! I greatly appreciate all of the staff, who often go "above & beyond" to care for our relatives, & are so cheery to all of us, & help brighten our days. My thanks to all of them!

The inn is a great place to go visit your loved ones when it is time to think about assisted living for a friend or family member. The staff is always there to answer questions and assist you or even great you at the door with a smile. They are never afraid to call you when they have a question or concern and I am not afraid to call them with questions or concerns. They have the residents safety and well being put first. The food is good. They have a lot of activities scheduled and are well attended. The resident counsel meetings are monthly and the residents are able to go and voice their concerns and give suggestions to the staff. The turnover rate at the facility seems a little high, but in speaking with other facility families it doesn't seem to be uncommon. All in all, we are pleased with the care and love our mother gets at Westbrook.

We drive by The Inn at Westbrook every day. We liked the place, but the price is too high for us. The staff is all pleasant and knowledgeable. The rooms were nice and of a good size. They have a huge dining room. We didn't see any activities because that's not what we want. I would recommend the place if they are looking for something with a dining room, but we are not interested in that. They could improve the cost though.

My mother has been a resident at Westbrook for over two years (except when she was hospitalized/relocated for rehab after a broken hip). i have been very happy with the care she is receiving. She has dementia, and can be fairly difficult. Every interaction I have witnesed has been positive. I feel comfortable and appreciated every time I walk through the door.

The Inn At Westbrook seems to be a very nice place. Upon entering the door, all guests are required to sign in. Staff members are usually very friendly and helpful, and are always keeping watch in common areas to ensure the safety of the residents. Residents have their own private apartments, complete with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and washroom. Furniture can be provided or you can bring your own. There is a cafeteria where residents can go to eat daily, optional church services are held at the facility, and there is a large common area similar to a living room where the residents can hang out and socialize. There are a few married couples that live there as well, and two-person apartments are available. My only major concern with the facility was that the front door was never locked when I was there. One could walk right in the door and then into a private apartment if it was left unlocked. There were always staff members near the entrance however keeping an eye on who comes in and out.
