Huntington Court is such a blessing!! I first chose one of top recommended places for rehab therapy that is all they specialized in. After having my husband at Huntington Court for a week he's already received more effective therapy and care than he got the whole month at the specialty rehab facility. I won't go into to all the details but believe me fancy movie theaters and lounge areas is not how you should base your decision for rehab. My only regret is not looking at more facilities and thinking the fanciest provided the best care. I know if he has any chance of coming home we have chosen the right place. If he can't come home that will be tough but he loves it where he at; the staff that are so kind and helpful, his beautiful room, and the food! I honestly can't thank you all enough at Huntington Court! Sincerely, Mrs. Endres

I’m so happy with my new home I wanted to share with others! I can speak first hand about how difficult it is to find the right place when the time comes. I have definitely found that place! Huntington Court staff is so caring and thoughtful, they don’t even feel like staff it’s like a big family. The room sizes are perfect, food is good, and they are on top of all my health issues. If this review can just help one person that will make me feel good.

When I first got here I was deeply depressed. I came in septic and couldn't do anything for myself. I've suffered from R.A. and lupus which are very painful diseases for the last 8 years. The strong and caring men and women of Huntington Court made me fight for my life-both emotionally and physically, with the encouragement and positivity from Huntington Staff has made a huge difference in my life! I want to say thank you to all the staff here at Huntington.

I can not say enough good about this facility. We admitted mom for short term rehab with the possibility of needing to stay long term. We were dreading this decision, after seeing the quality care and compassion the staff at Huntington Court is providing the decision was easy! Mom is actually excited about staying, she’s made friends with staff and residents. The renovations that are being done on the long term side will just make it better. Thank you to everyone at Huntington Court!

My experience with assisted living over the years has been vast. I will hit on the two major places my mom has been in. She first was at home for quite a few years with the assisted living. Every day for about 4 to 5 hours a woman would come in and help her. She would help her take a shower, fix her hair, clean my mom's apartment, and take her to the store or go for her to the store as needed. My mother has been in a wheelchair since I was born, she is also deaf and has a bad nervous condition. When these aids would come over there were always problems. Don't get me wrong there were some good aids that did there jobs and cared but for the most part they were rude and unprofessional. My mom would more then a few time find pills missing and we actually had a aid try to put the moves, you could say on my dad. These are just a few reasons I do not rate the assisted living system very high. Second, and for the past 5 years, my mom has resided at Huntington Court a local nursing home in Hamilton, Ohio. There she has not improved in condition at all. The facilities are nicely kept. There have been many nursing homes I have walked into and the stench is overwhelming, however here they keep it verily clean and sanitary which I think is a good enviroment for my mother. The cons of this facility is the watch and care over the residents there. My mom has coded blue as they call it on them more then once and it has been because they do not watch her or make her keep her oxygen on when it is doctor ordered. She is also now in hospis in the nursong home simply because an infection set in and the nursing home did not catch it and it tore down her system even more. I know I cannot blame my mothers deteriating health on this nursing home but I do believe that if they would have been more watchful she could be in better shape. I hope I have provided some helpful insite on this matter.
