Entry help by Deb and the rest of the staff was outstanding. Gave practical advice on things we had not thought about. Just getting started, moved in about a week ago, but the help getting started was outstanding so I decided to write a review now. Will do it again in a few months. Very nice place for our mom, and everyone there, both residents and staff, very caring and helpful. So far, a lot of hardworking nice caring people is what I have seen. j

I went to Claremont Retirement Village. We did independent, assisted, and memory care. The staff seemed very personable and friendly. The residents and staff were familiar with each other like they knew each other's first names. It all seemed great. It was a little older facility, but it was comfy. It didn't feel like an institution or a facility. The rooms were fine. They also had something called a great room that I did not see because I was not interested in that. Their independent living one-bedrooms have an enclosed patio, which is nice. In assisted living, you could choose a one-bedroom or a studio. There are a couple of different outdoor areas and common areas. It was older but well-kept. I didn't see anybody out there on the day that I went. They seemed to have the usual amenities. Everything is included in the assisted living price; they don't nickel and dime. Independent living was a little different; there were different levels of amenities that you could get. They do a lot of things outside of the facility. They have a lot of field trips and fun things they do.

Claremont Retirement Village is a beautiful place. It's actually like the building where I live now, only it's designed differently. The front door exits into a hallway, so it's more secure. The thing that impressed me was that they have a screened-in porch on the back, which was very nice. However, the rooms had no laundry room in them, and I like having the laundry room that I have here. Other than that, the rooms are identical to what I am in now. It's a one-bedroom with a small kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom. The staff I met with were very congenial, very professional, very kind, and pleasant. They have a lot of things that can keep me busy during the day. They have a nice cafeteria. They have transportation available, too.

I went to Claremont Retirement Village. I visited a friend there. It was very clean, bright, and well kept. As the holidays change, they would change the decorations. I interacted with the people at the front desk, the people in the kitchen, the manager, and the assistant manager, and they were all pleasant, cooperative, and informative. They seemed like they cared about the people. The food was OK, not highly seasoned. I was there when they had live entertainment, and I saw them doing an exercise class. My friend used to go play bingo and cards.

The two tone rest home. I think they ran out of paint. When we arrived there was trash over flowing from the dumpster and furniture in a big pile. Inside dogs running all over. I cannot see how people haven’t fallen over these animals. Floors would creeped when walked on, just a old place. We left before the grand tour. Seen enough.

My sister is currently staying at Claremont Retirement Village. She's been there for a year and a half now. I've gone and visited her outside in the summer and picked her up to go to doctor's appointments. I've been there off and on, I have not been in her apartment because inside visitors are not currently allowed. It's been pretty good and a little strange, but I'm sure it's been strange everywhere in the past year. So far, I think she's had pretty good care. It's an older community that resides all in one level. They all have little screened-in sun porches and it's nice. My sister's apartment was also redone. It seems pretty clean too. They normally have housekeeping weekly. According to my sister, she does not like the food. They have a lot of activities going on. They have exercise, parties, crafts, and trips. They also have transportation available to stores and doctors.

Claremont Village is a place of kind care for residents. I have been here for 3 months. I found a place for myself and my dog. A place of safety & "Care Minded Staff".I can relax & know- with just a phone call, anything or issue can be resolved.I also realize & appreciate that this retirement village can only function well -as a result of effort, from an Amazing Staff . The Managing Director Patrick has organized an Excellent Team -for the care of all of us here! Gloria R.

My father is currently at Claremont Retirement Village. I chose it because it was the only place I could get him in at the cost that we could afford at that time. The staff members are OK, but they've had a big turnover lately in employees. He's in a studio room. It's just one bed, one room, and one bathroom. They have different activities. They have one where the residents sit around chairs. They're compliant with the COVID rules. However, they don't return your calls. My dad has been in there for a few months and I still have not found out to this day what they're doing with him or what kind of rehabilitation they're doing with him. I don't know how he's doing. I'm the power-of-attorney and yet they don't give me any of the information and when I call, I get turned over to a voicemail and no one ever calls you back. He's got dementia really bad. They have a weekly newsletter that they send out, and as of today they're two weeks behind. A neurologist was supposed to evaluate him and let me know what stage he's in with the dementia, and that's never been done yet. I had to trim his hair when I was in there last week because they have no one to cut his hair. He has only had his toenails trimmed once this whole time. It's really bad service for the residents there. The manager is the only one that will call you back.

Claremont Retirement Village is a very old facility so it's more tired-looking. The hallways are smaller and the lighting is not as good. The person who toured me around was really nice. I went there twice, and seemed rushed the first time, but the second time she was really good. They had a library, a yoga class and each day that had three or four things of activities they had that day that residents could sign up for.

Our visit at Claremont Retirement Village went very well, and we like it enough. What stood out was that the people were very friendly, and they offered the assisted living services that we think our aunt might later need. They have all kinds of things going on, like cards, movies, bible studies, and the day we were there they had an ice cream social. They have this emergency button that the residents can press to let the staff know that they're up and they're OK, and we appreciate that. They have an onsite salon, and they offer rides to various places. The full-time person who accommodated us was very knowledgeable, and she had a summer intern who did a pretty good job.

My mom is at Claremont Retirement Village. It's a very well put together place, and my mother is going to be well taken care of, but at the same time will still have a feeling of some independence. They understand what older people need and they take care of it. They have a very, very put together program, and I was given papers for their activities. If she wants to do something every day, they have activities planned. One of the activities they have is a senior exercise. Even though you are in a wheelchair or you are on a walker, they have little classes where you go, and you stretch and you bend, but it's safe. They take people to places that they want to go.

I chose Claremont Retirement Village because it is very close to where I live, and my children are also nearby. The employees are very good and unbelievably helpful. The rooms are very nice, and I think it is above average. I have moved into one apartment, but I will be moving to another apartment because I think this apartment is rather large. One of the reasons why I rent this place is because they supply breakfast, dinner, and supper, and the food is excellent. If I am in trouble, all I have to do is just pull a cord. When the time comes that my wife has to go into some kind of place to be taken care of, it is right here, just in another section. I am very happy here. There are a lot of nice people and a lot of things to do.

I felt comfortable when I visited Claremont Retirement Village. Everything is on one floor and every apartment has a little a screened porch. The place is very comfortable and very clean. They have one or two bedroom apartment. The food was really great. My plan includes the dinner meal only because I didn't want all three of them as I'm still independent. The staff seemed fabulous, really friendly and very attentive. They have all kinds of activities. I'm particularly looking at the exercise room and the physical therapist who comes in couple of times a week to make sure you are using the machines correctly. They have several walking groups as this is all in one floor with an area of 16 acres so there are a lot of hallways. Outside of each porch are green spaces. They have shuffleboard and horseshoes which I guess the guys like. They have all kinds of activities although I haven't really dealt into that too much right now because I'm getting my house put onto the market. The price is very affordable.

I made good friends with the staff especially those in the kitchen and at the bar. They were extremely friendly and I still speak to several of them to this day. The residents never seemed to lack anything although I do remember them running out of some type of soup that was popular. The place seemed well organized and reminded me more of a hotel than a retirement community. My friend and I had a lot of good memories there with his grandmother. I honestly hope I end up so lucky to end up in a place similar to this when I get older. It's much better than the place I live now even.
