Staff is great! Welcoming and keep me informed. Apartments are a perfect size and facility is very clean. In fact, my brother was shocked that the facility didn’t “smell”. They offer a nice meal selection-breakfast is mom’s favorite! Nice variety of activities both on and off site for residents. When I toured the facility l, “it just felt right” and has proven the best decision we could have made to provide care for our mom.

The staff is great! They listen to any concerns from the residents and their family and take quick action to make things right. There are plenty of activities and entertainment, so residents can engage with others as much as they like. I’m very happy to have found StoryPoint for my parents, who moved here from Florida last fall. It’s a relief having them so close by.

Room really nice. We were able to decorate and setup the room to work for our mom. She loves it! The few things that needed attention were quickly taken care of by the staff. She really enjoys the happy hours with music. She loves the Wednesday Rosary get-together. She likes being asked to join some card games. She is quickly making friends and enjoying the journey. The staff has been very welcoming. They always acknowledge her presence by using her name. My mom is happy and my siblings and I are very happy we found StoryPoint. .

The staff here is wonderful. I had worked in long-term care for many many years, and although I know that nothing is absolutely perfect, this place is very close! When something isn’t quite right, they will reach out and do everything they can for you. That speaks volumes. The maintenance staff is wonderful - very helpful. The food is good per my mom, but she is also a very good cook and has a wonderful kitchen with all the amenities of her previous home. I know my mom feels very secure here and that makes us feel very secure!! I highly recommend this community. There is something for everyone.

I like StoryPoint Powell. It was nice inside. It was clean. The people who talked to me were very nice. The rooms just weren't big enough because my mom and her husband wanted a two-bedroom. They wanted something bigger inside. The staff was nice. The people that were living there seemed happy. They seemed to have activities and different places to hang out and stuff like that. It was really pretty and had nice decor. There were restaurants close by.

StoryPoint Powell South is a lovely senior community with a wonderful staff. My Dad has lived here for 5 years. He loves his apartment and the fact that he can remain mostly independent at 94 years old. I like the fact that he is not alone (unless he wants to be!) and can get assistance if needed. He has made many wonderful friends here. If anything, his only caveat is the food, sometimes he really enjoys it. Other days not so much, but I imagine it’s very difficult to make a menu that pleases everyone all of the time. Overall, we are very pleased with StoryPoint Powell South!

The moment you walk in the front door, the reception staff are there to greet you with a kind smile. The rooms and hallway are very clean and spacious enough. Housekeeping staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. It seems to me that the staff knows every resident and greets them with a smile. There are activities to suit every interest, if one does not exist, you can always start one. If you have a question, just ask.

I toured StoryPoint Powell and there was nothing I disliked about it. One thing that stood out was that the person who gave the tour knew all the occupants' names and they knew her name, and she talked to them in the hallway. It was very clean, the people were very inviting and friendly, and I would move in there in a second. I like the appearance from the outside, the friendliness when we walked in the door, how professional they were and the paperwork, there was not one thing wrong with it. We were invited for lunch there, but we didn't eat, but we met the chef. They had a beauty shop, a book club where you can meet and read books,a garden center, wine tasting, and classes on making wine.

StoryPoint Powell North was very nice. I liked the long hall with the rooms side by side. It looked a little less confusing than some of the other units. They had very nice-sized rooms. The common area where they were eating was very pleasant. The outside facility was excellent. They had separate baths. The two staff members that I met were very good. They had a very nice, secured outside place with a high fence around it. It was larger than the other place.

StoryPoint Powell was a beautiful facility. I loved it. Everything was all-inclusive, like the meal. The area was good. The staff was extremely helpful, offered all the information that I needed, and called me back towards the end of the day just to see what I was thinking. She kept following up with me.

My parents have been residents at Story Point South in Powell, Ohio for just over one year. The experience has exceeded all of our expectations. They have a 2 BR, 2 BA apartment and it is perfect for their needs. The common areas are well appointed, clean, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and my parents feel very well cared for. They've made many great friends who they've come to think of as family. Moving them to Story Point was definitely the right decision!

StoryPoint Memory care provides a safe, positive environment for people with memory issues. Small studio type rooms with a bathroom in each room-which is really nice! Activities are scheduled and residents mostly are together in community area during the day.

It was very hard to get my parents, ages 98 and 95 to move out of the house they built and into any assisted living facility. My parents got very attached to the staff at Story Point because they took such good care of them. The staff was quick to act when there was an emergency and went the extra step to help my parents through difficult times. The pond out front was a very soothing place to dit with them when we visited. My parents ended up calling Story Point “home”

My father takes pride in having his own beautiful apartment and being able to live independently at age 93. The staff at StoryPoint go above and beyond to provide services for the residents. StoryPoint residents and staff experience a “ family atmosphere “and we feel blessed that our loved one is so well cared for. The special events and activities at StoryPoint Powell are excellent ! The facility is always very clean and beautifully appointed updated decor. The meals are delicious and nutritious. The dining room is “first class”!

The facility is beautiful and well maintained. It’s a very peaceful, warm, welcoming place. Easy for residents to get their mail, exercise, or watch a movie without having to battle bad weather. Residents can also get transportation to doctors’ appointments. The staff is very responsive, friendly and supportive of the residents and their families. The staff plans various themed events (like a Valentine’s dinner, Oktoberfest, etc.) which residents enjoy. Card games are very popular and there are several groups that play throughout the week. There are a number of organized activities in which residents can participate (though would like to see more guest speakers or outings to places like the Zoo, Ohio Glass Museum, Botanical Gardens, COSi, art museums, library, etc.). My mom moved here from a house and we weren’t sure what to expect because downsizing can be a bit of an adjustment for seniors, but overall very satisfied.

My father has had a very positive experience at Story Point. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. They do a very good job organizing many different activities that are fun and promote socializing. The food is good and the menu is constantly changing while also offering more traditional items daily. My father enjoys having prayer service at the facility. He also really likes the convenience of having his family doctor come visit him at his room in the facility. Overall our family is really happy to have him in a facility that cares as much as they do.

We considered several communities before we chose StoryPoint Powell South about a year and a half ago. We made the perfect decision for my mother. Her two bedroom apartment is beautiful, well kept, spacious, and modern. The staff is so caring, helpful, interactive, and just fun people to be around. There are daily activities that are always changing that help keep the residents active and out socializing with the community. My Mom loves her home and feels very welcome.

My mother moved into her independent living space from a large home in 2020. When the community was more able to open up and once again dine and share life together, she jumped right in. She has made many new friends, enjoys many activities - various card games, garden club, and all the wonderful talent that is invited to come in on a weekly basis. She has the option to fix a meal in her apartment or join her friends in the dining room. If she cannot make it to her own church, she has a service on-site. Her family has grown. Thank you to the staff of Story Point for your kindness and care of our Seniors in Powell!

We just had a lovely family dinner with Dad at StoryPoint Powell. He was so excited to host all of us in the beautiful private dining room. The chefs and servers could not have been nicer, and clearly worked very hard to make sure we had a meal and experience to make Dad proud. I personally would like to thank the whole staff for caring so much about my dad.

The staff takes the time to really get to know the residents. They are very engaging and have reached out to me on a few occasions whenever they’ve noticed something a bit concerning with my dad. It’s a tremendous sense of comfort knowing they truly care and look out for him like they do!

My mother is now at StoryPoint Powell North. All of the ones that we looked at were very nice, and the staff was very caring. But my mother went into memory care and her vision is very poor, and I was afraid in some of the other facilities that she would come out of her room and get scared because she didn't know which way to go or get lost, but at StoryPoint, when you go into the memory care unit, it's one long hallway, so when you come out of your room, it's well-lit, it's beautifully decorated, and it's inviting, you can either go left or right. If you go left and you don't find where you want to go, you go back the other way and you can find the dining room and you can find the social area. When I walked into it, it just seemed very intimate, and watching the residents interacting with each other, they were all having fun. The aides were very caring and very attentive, and I've always found them to be that way every time I've gone there. They're like a family. They treat your loved one like a family member. They have good meals, three meals a day, and they do their laundry. We signed mom up for hospice care also, and they come in and help her bathe and help her get dressed. They've done her hair, and they've done her nails. They have physical therapy and speech therapy. She hasn't been able to take advantage of an outing outside of the building because of COVID and because it's been so cold, but when the weather warms up, she might be able to go on some of their outings. They play bingo, and they've got arts and crafts. They have private rooms; nobody has a roommate. It's really very nice. When both my daughters went with me to see the facility and what we were looking at, they both said as soon as they walked into the memory care area was, 'This feels right.' For memory care, they have a courtyard there. My mom has only been there for two months, and it is cold outside, so I don't know if residents can just push the door open and go out on their own or somebody has to take them out. It's a real tall privacy fence garden area. They have a nice outdoor area for them. They treat you like family. They pay attention to all of your questions, and they get back to you right away. They're nice. When I go to visit her, if one of the aides comes into my mom's room and comes over to the table, Mom always says, 'I just love them. They're so nice. This one's my favorite,' and everyone that comes over, she goes, 'This one's my favorite.' She's very, very happy. They are also transitioning their menu, not that they weren't serving this before, but they want to use healthy whole foods. It sounds like a good menu. It was a really good venue when she moved in, and she likes the food. Whenever I go in, if they're watching a movie or they have bingo going on or physical therapy, almost all the residents in that area are engaged.

The staff is absolutely wonderful...they are so kind and helpful to the residents and their families too. They encourage residents to be as independent as they want, but remind them that they are available at ANY time to assist. The accomodations are beautiful: sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, spacious, and include microwaves, washers and dryers in unit, and large bedroom closet. The food is great - large variety of choices to accommodate all tastes. There are a lot of activities offered, both on site and in the community - you can be as involved as you want.

StoryPoint Powell North was certainly a newer facility, but it didn't give that homey feel. It was more of a commercialized place. It felt cold, not cold temperature-wise, but not as welcoming. It was just a large and nice facility. I wasn't satisfied with the staffing level. There were some questions I asked about training for the staff and turnover of the staff, and there were some responses there that just didn't give me that warm feeling that people stick around and really care about work in there. I only met one of the staff. It was the person who gave us the tour, and that was the salesperson. I had to stop at the restroom, and she made a comment to my wife. It really set us back a little bit. She asked the question of my wife. She said, "Are you really overwhelmed or just bored?". I don't know where she's coming from that or why she was a bit insulted to think on the question. They had exercise and rehabilitation therapy rooms that had all new equipment, and that was impressive. But they didn't seem to have the staff to resident ratio.

It seemed very nice. The people seemed very happy. I was there about an hour. The staff took me to several vacant apartments. It is independent living. It's a campus where you can graduate up to the assisted living and then to the nursing home. The staff showed me a room where they have crafts and a room she called "the pub." She mentioned they have painting classes and things like that. I just met with the agent who was trying to get me to sign up. She was very nice. She was from Russia. The building itself seemed like it was fairly new and nice.

My father-in-law has moved in and so far, so good. We're dealing with normal challenges that we would deal with anywhere, making sure that the cleaning of the facility is done every week and making sure that they communicate medicine updates to us. He's happy, and his apartment is beautiful. The facility is almost new. I like the food, but he sometimes says it's a bit bland. They provide activities, and they've had some newer staff members who joined the facility.

My mother moved into here. The staff is great. They've done a good job. She has a brand-new 1-bedroom apartment. There are activities everyday, about two or three things each day, but my mom doesn't participate. We have tried the food and it's OK. The location is good.

They are very welcoming, both the staff and the residents. My mom kept saying....Everyone is so nice. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable. The residents just like to be with each other, my mom was asked to do a presentation of cake decorating on her first full day. The staff are supportive of each other and fill in if needed. Open dining room from 7am-7pm., Baking club, bingo, manicures, salon is available on Mondays...

The rooms are small but adequate and tastefully decorated. Both of our bedrooms and living room have a large window with attractive blinds. The closets have some shelving. The residents enjoy riding the Faith Shuttle to church or a doctors appointment, watching the Ohio State football games together, playing cards, working on different projects with the Fun (Activity) Department, happy hour and TV bowling. Interaction with the staff is positive. If there is a concern the they are available to talk with you. The Powell Library is close by, as well as Kroger, Aldi (to open this week), Chipotle, Panera, McDonalds, Bob Evans and others.

When I walked inside Powell, there were several women walking by who smiled, stopped, and waved. The rooms and dining area were very nice. I think it opened around January. Everything still looked new. It was laid out nicely, there were multiple stories, and it had elevators. I liked that. They offered a workout room, a craft room, a movie theater type room, and a library. The staff was very nice, answered all my questions, and even offered up some suggestions on some of my options.

It was our second choice. It was brand new and very pretty, and everybody was very friendly and accommodating. We didn’t choose them because traffic getting there from where we live was not good during rush hour. They do offer a lot of activities for the residents. The rooms were bigger than in a lot of others. They offer residents a medic alert system -- a necklace or bracelet that they can wear.
