I was recently admitted after ankle surgery as a rehab patient. I was presently surprised how beautiful the facility was and my large spacious room with bathroom. the staff was great but the rehab therapists were outstanding . When my 20 days were up with insurance the therapists had me ready to go home, they taught me so much so i was ready to go home. I am diabetic so my only regret was the food, but i survived. all my visitors were greated by super friendly staff.

This place is not fit for a dog. My sister almost died because they were not doing there job. No one to work the front desk and other jobs. One of there workers left her at the drs. Office and the driver ditched her at the drs. Office.there is a lot to say I am giing to notify the state how horrible they are and the bbb.l

Did not care for my father the way we had hoped. There was one good nurse and another helpful individual, but when he had to change rooms, instead of giving him his medicine the nurses at the new stations sat talking and playing on their cell phones. The financial part was horrible. They were there with their hands out when his insurance ran out. We had to pay a week in advance, but when he left after early and they are owed us a refund, we are not able to collected as of date, and he has been gone from there nearly 4 months. I have had at least 15 calls to the facility and to the corporate offices. I cannot get any satisfaction or call backs from corporate. She was as helpful as she could be and very pleasant.I was told over and over again that it would be taken care of today and have not seen anything as of yet.

In 2011, I had to have emergency surgery shortly after my husband had had a knee replacement. While I was in for surgery, my husband was taken to this facility since he couldn't be alone, not able to walk yet. I was in the hospital for 4 days and was brought to this facility for recuperation and physical therapy. We were there together for 2 weeks, in separate rooms. We were able to eat meals together, watch tv and just be together during this traumatic time. We were treated extremely well. The staff is very caring and if you rang for someone, they were there immediately. High praise for this facility!

I stayed here for 2 weeks-I thought they did a great job. The therapist, aides and nurses were wonderful! Very caring and always willing to go above and beyond. Would recommend! Thank you for helping me through my recovery!!!

I was extremely satisfied with the admission process, the care given by the nursing staff, the therapy I received, the timeliness of my medication, the dining experience and my overall stay at Kenwood. Everyone was so kind and helpful and showed care and concern to all residents. I have worked in long-term care and must say that none measures up to the Kenwood. If I needed care again, I would not hesitate to return.

Understaffed period. The nurses sit on their busts and the aides work their busts off but they are fighting a losing battle because there is just too much work for the few that care. The blame falls solely on the management. I saw a aide go on a tirade in front of residents and management cussing and carrying on and she was back the next day. The administration is worthless and shows clear favoritism toward certain employees. Stay away.

I am a caregiver and I sit with my client for companship only!! We put her light on to get her ready for the day and go to theapy it took over an hour to come and see what we needed there is only two good aids here. How long would it take for them to get here if the resident was on the floor?? I would NOT recommend this rehab place at all.

I will absolutely not recommend anyone I know to this nursing home! I'm a very angry past costumer. My father was an resident there the care team there the nurses an stna were great but food was poorly and I don't see it getting any better. The owner doesn't give a care in the world to fix the problem either. So many people besides me even residents had complained about this but still remains the same.

My mother is a resident of this facility. The administration is below par. The owner has not updated this building and although the State of Ohio has not required any updates dictated by the federal law related to persons with disabilities. Very disappointed in the care and food. I was not notified when my mother was admitted to the hospital even though I am her legal and health POA. I COULD GO ON BUT CHOOSE NOT TO

While I was just there for a short time, due to surgery rehab, the care I received from most of the nurses, and care providers were very good. The food was very tasty for a rehab facility and they cleaned every day. I would like to think that I was not an overly needed person to deal with, so I did not have to have a lot of assistance, but when I did need help the majority of my care givers were very kind and concerned. There were of course a few that I would not even give a 1 star rating too and I will be writing to the facility on the things that concerned me with those individuals in hope that it may assist someone else in receiving care from these individuals. I was released by accident early and that has been a real disaster. I was given the name of an organization that would handle my in home care, my physical therapy and machines, etc. I would not use them again. This company was expecting me to leave on Friday and not Wednesday so according to the physical therapist that my only conversation with her was today around 4:30PM. She explained that the machine I need to help with the rehab of my knee and to help with the pain I am it I may not get until Monday. Unacceptable to have to wait a total of 6 days for this equipment. Her answer to me was because I was released early and the paperwork was not completed. I could understand if they were being called on Friday to say I was being released that day and that I needed my equipment on that day, but they have been given more than enough time. I would highly suggest anyone using the Kenwood Terrace Facility, that they look into using another Home Care Partner. I would recommend Kenwood Terrace to someone that needed medical rehab.
