First of all it is not often that you find a family owned business around here-especially not an assisted living. The owner is always around and he has been in the business for a long time. Most of their directors have been there for 10+ years. They have a great system in place when it comes to nursing. The nurses do a great job taking care of dad. Other services are provided like the doctor visits him there, physical therapy is something he gets and it is so nice that the foot doctor visits him there. He is always happy with the meals. I also like that he gets help with his showers and the nurses handle his medications for him. I looked at 10 places and picked this one. The building is super clean. The staff are all friendly. The residents are up and about being active. It just felt right.

Rooms are fine. Food is ok. Not enough staff. If complain, you are causing trouble. If they don't agree with you, they make their own set of rules for your family member. Regretted ever putting my family member in this facility.

My mom lived in Plum Creek for several years. They were really good. We really like that place. We would have sent her back there if they had memory care, but they didn't. The staff was great. Out of all the facilities, she had been there the longest, but they were like family. They were just wonderful. I have never tried the food, but I didn't think it looked too bad. It's not the newest place, but they always had it cleaned up. They always celebrated holidays and they decorated them in such a nice way. You feel like those people had the right career. They truly have a love for senior citizens. They had nice wide halls and there were handrails everywhere, which I like. They had plenty of seating. They had a nice little courtyard where the residents could go outside in the summer.

We love where my mom is right now, and that is Plum Creek. The people are very friendly, responsive to your needs, and easy to work with. They have an exercise area, community room, and they have a library, chapel and activity room that houses bingo, and arts and crafts. They have a nice reading area, music area that people come in and play, and a beautiful area where there is a fireplace where you can sit up the couches or you could sit in your wheelchair and enjoy the fire and weather. I like it; it’s very nice. The place is extremely well-kept. She is allowed to bring her cat which is a bonus. I’m very pleased with it.

Plum Creek was excellent. As far as I could see, they had quite a number of activities. The place is gorgeous, it is relatively new, and the suites that they have were very nice with a slightly smaller kitchenette.

I visited Plum Creek. They were very nice and very friendly and showed us all of their amenities. Their activities, physical therapy, and everything else seemed great. It was very affordable. I inquired with the local paramedics in town and they said that they had received very few phone calls about issues with the nurses there, which I found attractive. That led me to believe that they gave good care to their clientele. They offered three meals and shuttle service.
