My dad moved in. So far we've visited him outside, and it was kind of nice that we could see him, but other than peeking through his bedroom window I have no idea what the inside of the facility looks like. I think it's a good size for him; it's the size of a double bed hotel room. There's a guy named Brad there, he's extremely helpful, relatable, and I've met a handful of people there. Everybody knows my dad by name, so when I say, "I'm going to visit Dad," they know exactly who I'm talking about, and I feel like it's very personal. He said the food is OK. They told me he's playing bingo and he gets to hangout in the library or watch TV if he doesn't feel like socializing.

Review of Broadway Creek Assisted Living I had mixed experiences with Broadway Creek Assisted Living when it came to the care of my mom. Her first stay was adequate, but her second stay fell short of expectations. On the positive side, Broadway Creek offers a variety of activities that could be engaging for residents, and there are some truly wonderful staff members who go above and beyond in their roles. However, it's evident that a significant portion of the work is carried by just 20% of the staff, which can affect the overall quality of care. Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our experience. We frequently noticed that call lights were not answered in a timely manner, often taking more than 30 minutes. Additionally, the cleanliness of her room was inconsistent and did not meet our standards. One major concern was the nursing administration. Their approach was notably disrespectful, as they not only failed to address or answer my concerns but also tried to project the issues back onto me. This lack of professional communication and accountability was particularly frustrating. If you're looking for a facility with exceptional food, well-maintained accommodations, and reliable on-site services like a hairdresser, it might be worth considering other options. While Broadway Creek does have some strong points, there are significant areas that need improvement.

I toured Broadway Creek Senior Living. The lady was very helpful. The place was very nice. However, when I walked through the double doors, the first thing I saw were people sitting around in wheelchairs asleep. I had my mother in a nursing home years ago (they didn't have things like independent living then), and she was very ill then, and that's what it reminded me of. This is truly a nursing home; this is not what I need at all. The rooms they have for assisted living had people in them that were either asleep or in wheelchairs. It was a nice enough place, but it wasn't for me. It's a very nursing home atmosphere. They have a courtyard and patios, but I didn't see any pool. Nothing like that. It was very clean. No trash on the floor. It was good.

I liked it, it was really nice, clean, bright, and they had a nice setup there. The staff was friendly. My mom can choose to stay there for short time. I saw the food and the menu, and it looked quite good. They have a shuttle (like a bus) that takes people places.

They were very nice, but my mother was looking for something that had a little kitchenette, and this place did not. It was very nice, and the people were nice. I had no problem with it. Very nice, very clean and spacious, lots of activities, and looked like a great menu. The reason we did not choose this one is because there was no kitchenette.

The Director, who showed us around, it was very pleasant. It was just a little farther out than what my friend wanted to get away from what she considers her home area, and that was the only concern she has. The visit was wonderful, and once we got out there, she was very frustrated because she thought it was just way too far.

My mother was there for a year. The staff was great and the facility wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about them. I recommend them to everyone I see.

It was very nice, and I liked it. The apartments seemed a little more modern. The director was really helpful. Professionalism was really great. Both the dining room and the activities that they had were really nice. They kept people busy. They had a salon, a courtyard, and a room in which they did activities.

It was all in one floor so there were no stairs or elevators for my dad to use and I liked that. They showed us a calendar of different activities through the month. The dining space was nice and comfortable to eat at.
