I met the Community development director at Cardinal Court, when considering possible long term care for my father in the future. She was professional and kind. She walked me through the process for if that time came and continued to check in with me for support and encouragement as I cared for my father. On one of those calls, I expressed the turn of events that I was having at the "Rehab Facility", she along with the Administrative director and the Nursing director help me get my fathered transferred and settled in at Cardinal Court, asap. Within a few months my father was social, active, walking again, eating and happy! I cannot express our appreciation for the care and love you've all shown him. Everyone from the awesome Nursing staff and Caregiver's; to the secretary and receptionist, the Business manager; the activities coordinator; the head chef, the maintenance director and 'Everyone' in between, "Thank You"!! What a wonderful community, clean and always friendly and professional!! You have all been a Godsend!! Sincerely and with Gratitude, Michele and Jim Fitzgerald

I had an in-person tour of Cardinal Court Assisted Living and Memory Care. I was very impressed with everything. They were very thorough in explaining everything to me and very patient. It was a very good tour. The place seemed quite pleasant. The staff explained how the different levels of service worked, which was all educational to me. They even kind of group people into different levels of decline in their dining room, so that was nice to know. The person who showed me around was very patient and helpful. The one room I looked at was for a couple. It may have been a little larger than the single-bedroom ones. I was impressed with how roomy it was. They said they would provide a small refrigerator and a microwave if we wanted. They had two or three courtyards that were enclosed. The building is set up in a circle. Every room has big windows, so it was bright outside, which was nice. They have a private room, and then they have an extra-large private suite. The other thing that kind of impressed me was how the community development director and another gentleman who was the maintenance director have been there since they opened. Several others who are there have been there for multiple years. I think that speaks well that people have stayed and that they are good and well-trained people. They have various activities for people to participate in. They don't leave the residents in their rooms alone because they need somebody to be aware of what they're doing.

The Cardinal Court Assisted Living and Memory Care was pretty and very homey inside. I toured the memory care part of it. However, there was nobody at the desk when I got there. I had to ring the doorbell twice for somebody to come so I had to wait for quite a while. When I got a tour of the building, I saw not one single employee, just zero. There's only the lady that gave me the tour. There was nobody in the hallway, I didn't see any housekeeping, and I didn't see any aides. I would not go there. They need employees. The person I talked to was wonderful though. The facilities were also very nice and pretty. They have private rooms so that was all good. I just don't think you're going to have any help once you get there. There's a salon there and they also have physical therapy. They have a family room, activities room, cafeteria, and in-room bath with a shower.

We went to see the assisted living at Cardinal Court Assisted Living and Memory Care, but the sign on the front of the place said 'Alzheimer's'. So, I think they specialize more in memory care, but we definitely indicated to the woman giving us the tour that there was nothing wrong with my mother's mind and it is even sharper than mine. However, she kept talking about memory and all this stuff, so the place was OK and everybody was friendly. The rooms were just kind of plain. They already provide the furniture for you, including the beds. It was more like a nursing home to us.

My first impression of Cardinal Court Assisted Living and Memory Care was good. It is not a very large facility, but everything about it seems just fine. The place looked very nice inside. I was able to look into one of the rooms that my mother-in-law could have possibly stayed in, and I was very impressed with it. The rooms seemed to be very nice. They're very comfortable, nicely furnished, and have a nice layout. The staff member was great. She was very nice and very helpful. She was excellent. There were a lot of people sitting around, and watching television, and doing things on their own, but there was no organized activity that I observed.

My father moved into Cardinal Court. We like it. He seems fine. The staff is very caring and very patient. They have the residents' best interests in mind. The food is actually good because I was there with him for several days making sure he's settled in. They have an activities director, and I would see her doing different things with them. They have arts and crafts, chair volleyball, and exercises.

My wife has already moved in to Cardinal Court. The staff was very helpful. I remember talking to her and she called me back and she gave me good advice, which was very helpful. The staff was good. They're off the charts. There's no one near them. I looked at nursing homes and memory care facilities, and there was no one near them. They showed me the rooms virtually. I did the virtual and I got all of the dimensions. They showed us through a video how the furniture fit and where the TV was and all that. It was great. The rooms were really good sized compared to others. My wife has a private suite to herself. I met everybody. I met the marketing person, the administrator, the medical director, and a couple of the nurses. They were phenomenal. When you get done, you have no questions. You feel good about putting your person there. I already sent three other people there who are looking for places. They have already set up meetings with two of them. It looks like it's going to work out for them because that's exactly what they were looking for. I see the menu every day. I get updates to tell me what my wife participated in and how she slept. No other place offered what they did; they didn't even come close. You could tell that their staff wants to work there. For people who can afford Cardinal Court, this is where you want to send them and they will not let them down. They're great.

I come to visit an old friend and I always have a great experience. Its a warm, yet, sophisticated atmosphere. There's livingrooms for different types of dementia stages. The staff there are really kind and there managers seem to have extensive knowledge on Alzheimer's. I think the daughter goes to a support group there too. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs dementia care.

We toured Cardinal Court Alzheimer's Special Care Center, but it's too far out for us to drive to, so we didn't go with that one. It was very nice, comfortable, and the memory care was handled very well. The pricing is a little bit outside our budget. They had a lot of nice outdoor facilities, they had a nice patio, and it looked real comfortable. The memory care has monitors, like motion detectors or something like that. Everything looked pretty good. They also have a nice program for activities and things like that for the residents. The staff we had no problems with, they were really friendly, and everybody came by. We saw the menu, and it looked like they have a wide range of food. It's served restaurant style so you can pick from a number of things.

Cardinal Court is a very new, clean, and modern community. I felt that they're too new. The person who gave me the tour had only been there for a couple of days and couldn't really offer me a lot of knowledge about the community. There weren't many residents yet, so it felt like we were walking around in an empty building. The staff members were all in one room because there was a family party, and once I met them, I could see that they were very engaged. I was shown a nice-sized, bright, and clean private room with its own bathroom. They provide three meals a day plus snacks. I think they need to build their business first. They don't provide transportation, so I would have to pick up my dad for his doctors' appointments.

My father moved into Cardinal Court, and it is the best it could possibly be. The care for Alzheimer's patients could not be any better. They are wonderful, and I'm so thankful that he's there. The people are wonderful. I've been there every day, their food is excellent, and their kitchen staff is nice. They chef is wonderful, they give the residents snacks, and I actually have to tell them to feed my dad less.
