"My friend moved to Arbor View Nursing Home. It's an excellent place. He likes the staff and he likes the food, and they seem to be very caring. It's an older facility, but he's in a private room and he has his bathroom. It has a nice TV, but the building itself is a little shabby. Some people do go out of their rooms into the common spaces, and they're nice. What I like is that they have a very large birdcage where white birds are flying around, sometimes I'd put my friend in his wheelchair down there, and he likes to look at the birds."

"My husband was a patient at Avamere for six weeks before he died. The facility is very nice, and we were very happy there. They have very good nurses. This place is better when you need more care. They have activities there. Like when they have a birthday party, they have people come and sing, and my husband liked that. They have a lady who would play an accordion and sing, and she was very good. He liked the music. We were in a double room with a young man, and I felt sorry for him because I felt like he probably would like different things than my husband, so if they could get people maybe more the same age, that would help. Their food was good. "

"The room at Arvada Health Center was really nice, and the director was super cool and nice. The place didn't smell at all. The room's setup was good, and it had the bathroom there. They have days that they take them out shopping and Bingo. "

"I have been a patient here twice. If I ever had to do therapy again. I would come to The Center at Northridge. I highly recommend The Center at Northridge. The staff here is amazing. I love the activities they have. PT and OT are so good. They make you feel better about your self. The Center at Northridge Thank you for the excellent care I received. "

"The staff at Broomfield Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center help respond to the concerns of the family and to try to help my dad to adjust to where he is. I think they are caring staff. I think the food is average, and my dad is not thrilled about it. The cleanliness is average too. They’re doing what they can, but they don’t have enough staffing. "

"My uncle moved into The Villas At Sunny Acres. They are very wonderful. They have a caring staff. They have drawing, coloring, music, prayer, movies, snacks, and walks outside. The residents seem to like the food. They take precautions to make sure no one gets in or out without the nurses, staff, or senior staff knowing it. My uncle's room is big and clean. The room is divided by a bathroom that they share, but he has his own sink, mirror, and closet. It's quite spacious. They have a dining area, a TV area, and a little game area, and it connects to an outside patio, which is humongous. From the admission to the CNA staff, house cleaning, and laundry person, they are all very good at what they do. They are very polite, courteous, and very professional. They go above and beyond their regular duties."

"Unlike others who may comment, I actually live here at Elm's Haven. Despite my initial reluctance to make this life-saving choice and relinquish my former independence, I have been relieved (and very surprised) to find that I have gained much more than I have lost. The staff has become like my second family! Their compassion is genuine and heart-felt. No other human quality is so very important as this. I've also received skilled and thorough medical care that has improved my physical condition substantially. The food is much better than I expected and even during this CoVid time, there are engaging activities offered. I am fortunate to receive such skilled and caring help!"

"My mother was at Sandalwood. She passed while she was there. Basically, my mother quit eating, quit drinking, had high blood pressure, and all sorts of other extenuating circumstances. Basically, she had a lot going on with her. They did their job and did exactly what they should have done. They gave her whatever pain meds she needed. They tried their best, but my mother was 79 and had been going downhill for several years. My mother spent a total of about 30 days at Sandalwood Manor. I tried the food, and it was fine. She was on a very restricted diet. One of the symptoms of stage six dementia is that they forget how to eat and how to swallow. They had to actually sit with her and tell her to take a bite and swallow the bite, clear them out, and then take another bite. It's to that extent; that's the level of care my mother was at. The staff members were all very good, very nice, and gentle. There was just the one nurse that I did not like. I know you can't break out one nurse, but I just didn't like the way she physically handled my mother. My mother was 5 foot 2 and weighed 195 pounds, so she was literally too much for one person to handle. It was an older facility, but it was spotless, kept up, and very clean. It was a little pricey for what it was. However, they had the highest staff per patient ratio of any of them. In the nurses station (while she was in rehab), there were always four nurses sitting there."

"My mom stayed at Christopher House after having a total knee replacement. The staff were genuinely caring, friendly, and responsive to her. They became like a second family. I would recommend this rehabilitation center for anyone recovering from a surgery. "

"My mother had rehab at Mountain Vista for six weeks, and it went well. I liked the people and the nursing staff. The therapy was very good. Some were a little intense for her, but they needed to do that to get her walking again. The food was like a hospital's, but that's appropriate for the facility. It's more of a hospital rehab situation there, not a long-term place. Her room was well maintained and clean. It was well staffed and homier than some of the others I visited."

"FAcilities are very clean, meals are kosher and decent quality of ingredients, staff is friendly and helpful, seemingly actually concerned for the elderly and infirm. I especially like the birds and fish tanks throuought the place. My only qualsm is how much they push religion (catholacism) on the tennants. other than that I would recomend this care facility to anyone. Even the grounds are large and allow for free movement as well as being well cared for. If it comes to the time to say the final goodbye they were als very knowledgable about who to call and took care of all the arrangments. "

"Our experience at Wheatridge Manor was excellent. They really took care of my mom and they're really nice. The place was very clean and organized, and the staff was wonderful. She was in the area of the building for short-term care, but they also had long-term care available. The meals were very good, they purified everything for her. They played Bingo and all kinds of things, it was really nice."
