I have been a resident of Cherrelyn for four and a half years, approximately. Cherrelyn was not my choice, as I was just being discharged from the hispital. The social worker at the hospital was in charge of transferring me to a health/retirement facility and came across Cherrelyn, on her list. They had room available and wound up getting here after getting out of the hospital. There are many things good at Cherrelyn, one of which is a very dedicated and caring staff that cares about all the residents. Everything that we need is provided for us; good care, doctors, nurses, therapy and various form of entertainment. There is a happy atmosphere to the place and you wind up getting many friends, with whom to socialize. You an also have privacy and time of your own. We get nutritious meals three times a day, plus snacks. Overall, life at Cherrelyn is pleasant, as we get to do many things for entertaiment, including outings to various places. I recommend people consider Cherrelyn to come and convalesce here.

My brother Frank lived his last week of life in a very caring loving place. My 3 sisters and I cannot praise the staff enough for their support, time and love. Many of you went beyond your call of duty to make Frank feel respected and safe. Thank you does not express our gratitude. You all were angels sent to us during a very difficult time. Special thanks to Eileen-social worker who was so very helpful guiding us. Nina- loving nurse care given when he arrived. Geneva CNA who did 5 12 hour shifts and still found the time to hold Franks hand and make him feel loved. You have a special gift! Candace Admissions- thank you so much! Mary PA- explaining results of mri is priceless information. Gary LPN- you are a man with a big heart! You were there so lovingly caring not only for Frank but also for me and my husband. We chose Cherilynn health center for grandma for her rehab and nursing needs. Each nursing and rehab staff member that we have had contact with has been absolutely incredible! We have recommended Cherilynn for other families since being at the facility. In addition to the personal attention that the staff members have given to Grandma it is been apparent that they care about the residents. From the time the paperwork was filled out to when grandma passed away in the hospice care we have nothing but incredible things to say about the staff at Cherrelyn.

I found Cherrelyn Healthcare Center. It was clean, and it smelled good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very ample and very spacious. It seemed very good. There’s something to do all the time here.

My aunt was in Cherrelyn Healthcare Center for two weeks. It was a very good facility. The rooms were very clean. The meals were very good. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. They knew what they needed to do for my aunt; that's why she progressed so well and she was able to go home.
