I toured Terrace at Newark. It's very spacious. It has lots of activities to offer. The people were very friendly, and we were able to take care of getting my mother signed up very quickly. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable and answered questions that we had. The place was very clean and very light. It had nice, large hallways and tall ceilings. Everything seemed up-to-date. The atmosphere was very friendly and happy.

We liked the facilities, the activities, the staff, the cleanliness, and the attentiveness of Terrace at Newark. It's self-pay into Medicaid, which was what we were looking for, and it had a very nice atmosphere. The staff was very nice, attentive to our needs, and informative. The rooms were clean, spacious, and accommodating. They do a lot of crafts and they get them out into the community. So, they are socially active. The location was out in the country, so that was very relaxing and inviting. They have walking trails and a lot of places where they can actually sit and talk and visit.

Terrace at Newark is very clean and very welcoming. They do daily and weekly activities. They also have exercise and ice-cream parties. The staff was very friendly.

The terrace was very nice, homey, and patient-oriented. They had many indoor activities but not as many outings as other places. However, it was too far away from my father. The dining area was very good and health conscious, but the portions were small. They had quite a selection, but you get served what they had prepared. They had a salon and a soda room, where you can get sundae and ice cream. It was well set up.

My mother-in-law is in the Terrace. It is beautiful. It is small. It is caring. It is very efficient and a very nice place. The staff has a very good attitude, caring, on top of everything and every efficient. They have a chef, and they have amazing food. They have all kinds of outings. They have arts & crafts, music, movie nights, ice cream Sunday afternoon, bingo, contest, and all kinds of things.

My mother-in-law is in Terrace at Newark. It is nice, clean, and bright. It is in a smaller size, which is something we are looking for and the people are very nice. She has a nice room and it is big enough for her. She has her own bed, two dressers, a recliner, and her TV, and it is very nice. We had a meal there, and it was good. The dining facility is very nice. There are quite a bit of activities for them to do there. They have movies, sing-a-longs, puzzles, and they have game nights. I will recommend them. I will say that they are a small facility with friendly staff that keeps track of what's going on with the clients.

I have visited this facility 5 times and took members of my family there to visit. Each time we were met with gracious hospitality. Our questions were answered and the information helpful. Residents seemed to be well taken care of with careful attention to their needs. I decided to place my husband there as I feel he will get the attention he needs. The place is fairly new and well kept. Freedom to come and go with my family member is not only allowed but encouraged. Any issues I had were immediately addressed. I would recommend this facility,

We've been very pleased with Terrace at Newark. The staff is very good to work with. They provide exercise programs for my mother and they take care of everything she needs. We have no complaints. My mom is very pleased, too.

I found the Terrace at Newark as I was looking for a home for my 91 year-old mother. The facility is newly built, not a large but very nice. The people at the Terrace are also very nice. It just felt right. I know she will be very comfortable there.
