My Dad resides at this Veteran's Home. He is happy, cared for, clean, treated with love and respect by everyone there. I am so happy with the care and attention he gets. The care givers , nurses, aides, etc are wonderful. The facility is clean. Dad has never been in better shape mentally or medically. I love it and I am so grateful!

The New Jersey Veterans Homes Paramus was very, very clean and very nice. The people were very friendly. The unit was clean, roomy, and nice-sized. The staff member was a very nice lady. She was very helpful and very informative. They have music, bingo, and shows where people come in to entertain.

New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home Paramus was very well kept. Some of the staff was snappy but overall, the staff was very nice. The people were fed nicely. The cooks and maintenance staff were very good. The rooms itself was very nice. The televisions were nice. The day schedule was very good. If you wanted to go out, they would take you out to the garden. They would take you to the rec room where you could watch television and play checkers and games with the other people in the nursing home. They would take your clothes and clean them.

I visited New Jersey Veterans Memorial Homes Paramus. The rooms were nice and everything if you’re not mobile. It is much better than being shut up in a house or in an apartment because you get to eat three meals a day, you get assisted in bathing, and they would do your laundry for you. The food was OK. They have table tennis, checkers, and dance activities. If you’re mobile and slightly demented, they have walking trails, and they have people who would guide you through the trails. They would take you on bus trips to malls too. They show movies at the facility. Also they would take Social Security and that’s it. Most of the workers are very kind to the residents because most of them are not mobile.

My mother is in the Veterans Home, and she gets wonderful care. It's clean; it's affordable. It's very good, but you have to be either a veteran or a spouse of a veteran to be there. The rooms are OK. They're a little bit smaller than some I've seen, but they're adequate, and they each have a bathroom. The food is excellent. In fact, other people on the floor like it very much.
