Montclair Care Center is a nursing home located in the charming North Jersey hills of Montclair, Essex County.

My mom is at Montclair Care Center for skilled nursing. The biggest thing for me is how they treat mom is top-notch. The facility is going through rehab, meaning that they are renovating the location. There still are some things that they are working on, and I recognize that. I hope that they will take care of those things sooner rather than later. But they make it up with their caring staff. I was told that they are in the process of overhauling some of their activities due to Covid. I know they have a calendar of activities, but I don't think all of them are fully back yet. With regard to dining, right now the patients are eating in their rooms. There is a room for them to go to, but right now, mom has been eating inside of her room. I think they are renovating that space as well right now. To me, the facility is a work in progress, and I can tell that they are working on it. They may want to check out some of the furniture and some of the cabinets and drawers that needed to be cleaned out. But I said yes to the place because I felt like I had a good feeling for the staff and those who work there. What's most important to me is the quality of service that they're giving the residents, and I can see that's something they take very much to heart. I love how they treat my mom, and I love how they care for her, and that to me is important.

After a terrible experience elsewhere, coming here has been wonderful. From our first connection (phone) with Erika through to today when I am about to leave, everyone on the staff has given me excellent care.
