My mother is in Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing. It's excellent. I'm very happy with them. It's very clean. The staff is awesome. They take very good care of my mother, who is hard to take care of. They're always friendly and always smiling. They have little concerts, they play games, they have art classes, and Zumba. It's very active. There are a few things every day. My mother said the food is very good. The choices are good, and it tastes good.

Would not recommend. Communication is not good with the medical team. Social workers are non existent and when they are, they have attitudes and are rude. Hospice was not good and did not provide the comfort needed. Food is not good. They mis-diagnosed UTI twice leading to sepsis. They have many falls. Residents are ignored when they ask for help. Residents appear to be sedated most of the time. They put catheters in instead of helping the residents to the bathroom because it makes the job easier for them even though it is not good for the resident. Staff curse and have arguments in front of family members and residents. They use a staffing agency, which makes it hard for the staffing agency nurse's to understand if something is wrong with the patient because they are unfamiliar with the patient. Overall a very bad experience at this facility and would not recommend.

While the facilities are beautiful, the level of care and communication to family is horrible. Brought my father in law here and he was discharged with a grade 4 wound on his heel. Day of discharge nurse didn't know he was being discharged no was any mention of how bad the wound was. When I went to change bandage was when I saw how bad it was - I could see bone! Took him to hospital when they performed doppler and ultrasound. Underwent one procedure to remove blockage and was not successful. Scheduled for amputation but night before surgeon said he wanted to try a different procedure that sometimes works - and it did! Dr and Surgeon at hospital all said the wound was inaccusable and result of neglect. If your love one can walk they maybe ok here, but if they truly need skilled nursing, look elsewhere.

My issue is with billing when my mom went on hospice care when I agreed to pay $350 per day for room and board beginning on April 16 2019 for which I sent a check for $2450 to cover from 4/16-4/22. My mom passed away just after midnight on 4/19. I requested a refund for the unused days I paid for. After several phone calls the check arrived for less than expected with no paperwork attached as to how it they justified the amount. I called again asking for a call back to resolve the issue and instead received paperwork showing they were charging for a day prior to going on hospice for which traditional Medicare pays. My wife advised me not to send the payment in advance and wait to be billed I wish now I had listened to her advice.

My grandmother stayed at Lincoln Park Renaissance and the medical/nursing care that she got received was above and beyond. The way the staff (CNA, Nurses, therapists...) cared for her during her 3 month stay as if it was their own family member. The food was really good, and any medical question/need was given its utmost attention. I would feel very comfortable sending my love one there again.

Lincoln Park Renaissance Rehab & Nursing has been an absolute pleasure. The staff is kind and genuinely cares for their patients. The nursing staff is very attentive, well trained, and provides great care. I appreciate all they do and I'm confident that the residents are in great hands.

P.T. was very good and helpful. Good staff. The nurses were hard to deal with at times and very forgetful. No Wi-Fi and no response to requests. Seemed a bit disorganized. Food was good.

My father is a patient at this facility. Everything need to be asked several times.Personal is not attentive. If he is coming after dialysis, he need to ask for food too. He is diabetic and sometimes he get food or drink that are categorically forbidden for him.

Do not go here unless you are ambulatory and had a hip or knee replacement - they are only competent in physical therapy. Their medical and nursing care is very weak and they are clueless. They are poorly organized, have too many per diem nurses, who were not oriented well and who do not know the facility well. There is one full-time medical doctor for the entire facility - which is several buildings, and she has no office or extension. There are very few specialists on staff with admitting privileges, so you are screwed if you need a specialist. They are disorganized, and lack a real process for communication between parties. They can only handle very simple cases in the “resort” - which is a ridiculous name for a health-related facility. Stay away if you need a lot of care or have real medical problems. My mother got a bed sore after one week and I was the one who noticed it. She went home with blood clots in her lungs, and into the hospital within days - after I kept saying - “why is she wheezing.” Her doctor knew from one phone call she probably had pulmonary embolisms. I never knew that was a symptom of PE, but the doctor there should have made an effort to figure that out. Medically, the physiatrist in charge is extremely weak clically - and that is dangerous. The COO is an occupational therapist - not quite the background you want in a medical facility.

I absolutely love Lincoln Park! The facility is very nice and the staff is awesome. They feel like family to us. I have never had a complaint and my husband has been here since July. I am so thankful that they accept Veterans, so the men can visit with each other.

My husband had been in Lincoln Park. The people who work there were doing a wonderful job, but then I don’t know what happened. He ended up being maybe over medicated and they had to take him to a hospital where they kept him for about a month to try and help him, so he could walk again. He could always walk around, but all of a sudden, he was so medicated that you couldn’t get him out of bed, so I chose not to go back there. Plus, the facility was not happy. There was one room at the end of the hall, but the halls were gray, and that room had windows. They just sat them in there around the table. I know they need the old movies, which was wonderful, but it was very noisy. The people were just really sitting there with their heads on the table. It wasn’t the best experience. The people who worked there did the very best with what they had.

My brother in law is suffering from fourth stage kidney cancer, and needed a place to stay that would accept Medicaid. Alyssa suggested the Care Center, which I visited. It looks nice from the road and in the lobby but is a disaster inside. " one flew over the cuckoo's nest". Three patients to a room, separated by a hospital curtain, with furniture from the 1940s. If you love whomever you're arranging a residence for, avoid this place like the plague!

I didn’t like Lincoln Park for my husband. It is rehab, senior living, and dementia living. The rooms were awful with three people to a room with a curtain between each of them. It didn’t look like they took care of their patients. I was upset because I had an appointment, but nobody knew I had the appointment. They told me to bring my paperwork, but there was nobody there to take the paperwork. Also, there was a bad smell in the place.

My dad is in this facility, the furnishings are dated and chipped and all the drawers do not have handles on them. The walls in dads room are chipped and the staff use my fathers bathroom for themselves. My father feels they are rough when bathing him and he feels violated by how rough they treat him while bathing and how they squeeze his testicles upon cleaning him. I would NOT recommend this facility. We are moving him out as quickly as possible.
