Well day one for a relative only so far not even 12 hours in and it's been a bad experience. The bed didn't work, was told maintenance will come check. No maintenance showed. Went back to nurses station saying beds still not working. They're response "did you try the buttons?" Really?!?! Turns out it wasn't plugged in. Staff member sent to treat an area didn't know how, had to be told what he was missing. Then need a special machine for wound care and they aren't sure where it is. Not off to a positive experience by far. I will update if is just first day exception or if it continues.

I find this place to be very unorganized, dirty and not consistent. Each day I would visit, the protocol would change. I was asked if I was vaccinated, saidyes - would you like to see my card, "NO, it's OK" was the response. The nurse that brought me to patients room asked on the way there, did they check your temperature, I said NO, she said: "they didn't check your temperature"? I said NO, they did not and she didn't do it either! A lot of noise and hustle in the hallways. One employee/worker ... was playing music. They do not understand the proper dispensing of medication or the necessity of caring for a serious wound and the importance of changing the dressing. Also rehab is for doing physical therapy, why would it take 4 days to start any PT !? I did not like it here.

I would give ZERO stars if I could !!! This is the absolute worst place to send anybody!! What they do to people is inhumane and beyond disgusting! My poor grandmother was sent there for help they left her in a bed as she cried in pain and did nothing about it for weeks wouldn’t let her use her phone and then finally when it was too late and she developed a stage 4 bedsore that became black and infected they finally sent her to the hospital. Where right now as I type this she is on her deathbed because of what this horrible place and it’s horrible Staff did to her! Do not send your family members to this place they should be shut down we will be fighting for justice for my grandmother and all the other people that they have harmed in the past so that they cannot harm any other person that goes there for help!!

Avoid! Reused ostomy bag from garbage, took meds from other other patients because staff "too busy" to put pharmacy orders in, even with persistent asking and family monitoring (patient went 28 hours without meds), blood on toilet, I could go on... Wouldn't bring a dog here. Disgusting practices.

I have visited and been patient/caregiver at hundreds of facilities in 4 states. Never had a bad experience. worst in food, care, nursing, discharge, care etc, you name it , it failed at every level except therapy department. The therapy department was the best and rest of the facilities care at my rehab at worst. I have tried to complain, as I complained it got worse. it is called retaliation. also, others may have either chosen to complain or ignore or may be I was treated because I was discriminated. I wish CEO would contact me so I can give specific instances. I will be filing a complain with Medicare as it is a shame.

My mom was at Cranford Rehab and Nursing. The care there is unbelievable. All the departments did an awesome job caring for her. I would most definitely recommend Cranford Rehab to anyone that requires their services.

I have been in and out of this facility 8 times. It's very clean, the housekeeping staff is awesome and clean the rooms everyday. Everyone is courteous from the Nursing staff, the CNAs, the Physical and Occupational Therapists as well as the other staff who work in the Therapy Department, the Administrators, the Finance Department, the Social Workers, the Receptionists, the staff in charge of entertainment, the Maintenance Department and the employees who helped me in the Kitchen. I have been there so much that I started referring to this facility as home.

My mom was in Cranford Health Extended Care and they have made a lot of mistakes: they admitted her without giving her the special diet she needs, they tried to give her the wrong medication once, they called us to pick her up and drive her to a doctor appointment in error (impossible anyway since she is in a wheelchair and we are not equipped to do so). The weekends are the worst: no one answered for 2 hours when she pushed the "call" button. The place is run down and some of the staff barely speaks English.

When I had hip surgery my doctor recommended Cranford Rehab & Nursing Center for my physical therapy. I am so glad I listened to him. The rehab people were awesome and the nurses and aides treated me as if I was family. It was clean too. This is a great place!

My Dad had a really wonderful experience at Cranford Rehab. From the first greeting at the front desk, the Director of Nursing and her staff to the Administrator and the Social Worker - everyone was so incredibly helpful. We have lived in Cranford for years and wanted Dad to be local but weren't sure where he can get the best rehab after his fall. We are so happy we chose Cranford Rehab. He did so well and was back home living his life faster than we all thought possible. We would absolutely recommend this facility! Thank you Cranford Rehab!

I have been coming to Cranford Health for many years. First through my wife Doris's illness and now as a volunteer. Cranford Health's staff is like an extended family to me. From the Receptionist to the Nursing staff, the Social worker and the the Maintenance Director, everyone greets you with a smile and a kind word. The dedication to care and the beautiful surroundings make it a warm and comfortable place to be.

When I came to this Nursing home I noticed an extremely strong smell of old people smell haha. It really added that nursing home feel which in my case I was completly fine with. The whole layout of the facility was allright. I really wished I could have had the chance to visit my friend in the nursing home but I was not allowed because of health reasons. So I was not able to see how the rooms looked but I imagine it was pretty nice. All though the smell was a little distracting at times and I did feel Nausea from the smell I was still able to function fine with all those old people around me. There was good parking so that was not a problem for sure. This whole facility is what I would say a 4 star Nursing Home. I can not wait to come back to see my friend again!

I personally think your facility can use more staff that truly cares for the patient and not just their paycheck. My niece had a altercation with one of the staff members, where the staff member actually grabbed my nieces arm and shove her. The staff memb
