My grandmother and I are incredibly close, and I have visited (and stayed with) her at Fountainview dozens of times over the years. I have nothing but glowing things to say about the environment, the staff, the food, and the comfort I have felt knowing that Fountainview is now my grandma's home. Over the years, I've actually gotten to know many of the residents here personally, and so have seen a variety of different apartments in both independent and assisted living. The individual apartments are all spacious, bright, and clean, and the common interiors are spotless and tastefully decorated. The reading room with fireplace is a delight, as is the recreation area with its soft serve machine (a favorite of my grandma's!) and pool table. The real secret of Fountainview's excellence, however, lies in the staff. Everyone is kind and genuine, caring and concerned with each resident's wellbeing. I LOVE joining the residents for dinner around the communal table—the food is consistently delicious and the dinner service a well-oiled machine. If you need something, someone will help you find it. If you have a question, someone will be there to answer it. I cannot recommend Fountainview enough.

We're on the wait list at Fountain View Senior Living. I was very impressed with how personable they were and they spent a lot of time with us. My daughter went with me. They have 15 units, and they're more like studios. They have a courtyard and a common area where they have a few activities. The staff was very nice. Everybody seemed very friendly and personable. It had kind of a family atmosphere. It was very beautiful, very up-to-date, modern, clean, bright, and friendly.

I toured Fountain View Senior Living. The memory care area was like a little community, and each room opened into the central fellowship area. It was small but bright. They were doing a variety of activities when I was there. They had puzzles, they were painting fingernails and that kind of thing. I did not see their food, although the residents were having tea and coffee at the time. The staff who helped me was very knowledgeable and personable. Their room was good-sized and in good condition.

The tour I had at Fountain View Senior Living went well. I liked the staff there the best out of any place that we went. They were authentic people. We felt like they were just showing the facility rather than trying to sell us on it. It was a good interaction. The food was also better than in any of the other places and the facility was very clean.

I really liked Fountain View Senior Living among the ones I've looked at, so I intend to live there. My impression of the staff is very good. I talk to the directors all the time, they stay in touch with you to see how you're doing, and they all seem very nice. The 1-bedroom was very nice, but they had different sizes. I was able to reserve a large one, so I was very pleased, and it had a balcony. I'm looking forward to it. They had all kinds of stuff like exercise, hobbies and crafts, the basic things with most of these places. It's not brand new or real fancy, but it's very, very nice. They did not serve me food, which is unusual, because I've been to many places that serve lunch or dinner. I can have my apartment either independent or assisted, and I can eat in both dining rooms. It was pretty quiet the day that I was there, and I saw people around sitting in different areas.

I have loved Fountain View since the day I moved in. My kids helped me look at places and this felt the most comfortable for me. We toured and had dinner before we made our decision- the food was wonderful and you get lots of it. I barely have to cook, I'm always so full from breakfast and dinner! The chef always takes our input and makes changes if we want him to try something new. I lost my husband last year and I thought I would never feel whole again. Thanks to my new friends, it's not so hard anymore and I love having people close by.

Fountain View is a terrific community. I love visiting my friends who live here and coming for a meal with them and partaking in the special events the community puts on for them. They have enjoyed their time there and the staff seem to know them personally and are always willing to help.

Fountain View was a pleasant-looking and clean place. The tour was thorough. We got to see four different rooms and to see the residents as they were dining at the end of the day. Our tour guide knew many of the names of the residents as we passed them in the hallway or down in the lobby, which was good. The site was good and close to the Interstate and to my home. The rooms were very nice and clean. The dining room looked fine. We saw different areas that the residents can use for exercise and bathing.

I toured multiple facilities, but kept coming back to this one for the friendly atmosphere. No one looks forward to their parents going to a retirement community, but this is exactly what we needed. A community that seemed to support each other and enjoy themselves. Mom is very happy.

My wife's mother was looking for an assisted living home. She was coming off an injury and we dedided to support her until she could file for social security. She did most of her looking in the Watertown, SD area where she was. My wife talked her and I into visiting a home in Omaha about an hour from where my wife and I live. We went to Fountain View and saw that there were actually two programs. One was assisted living and the other was an independent living program. Overall, the two were very close, the primary difference was the level of care provided. Both offered good meal services, chapel, a gym, a library and a mini-computer lab. The rooms offered were either singles for independent living, or 2 bedroom shared rooms for assisted living. The food wasn't great, but it was definitely better than expected. The rooms were nice and the staff seemed friendly enough. Overall, the whole facility seemed pretty nice. Not exquisite, but livable and affordable.
