We have placed my mother here. We have visited the place as we were moving her in, but we haven't since then because they're on lockdown. My mother has been there for three months now. The place is wonderful. They have fireplace right on the lower level. She is on the second level. We are very happy with the place and the staff members are good. My mother has an apartment that has a living room, a small kitchenette, bedroom and a bathroom. They have lots of activities. They have bingo and games. They have a beauty salon and close to the beauty salon is a room that has snacks, ice cream and popcorn, which is nice. My mother is a very picky eater but she said the meals are very good.

I toured and it was very informative. I had no outstanding questions after the visit. I was able to take a look at a couple of different units. I got a fairly extensive review of the facilities. Overall, I was impressed with the tour. The staff did a good job. The rooms were fairly clean. Not everything was new. From what was described to me, they were trying to transform some of those rooms and get them up to newer levels. The one thing that really stood out were the shower areas. You had to step into the shower area, as opposed to just a true straight walk-in. The dining area looked nice. We went into one room where somebody was preparing arts and crafts. There were outdoor opportunities. There was an enclosed backyard or a courtyard with the capability of doing some gardening and walking. The other place they had (which I see in most places) was a nice big extended front porch with chairs out there, and I was able to talk with some of the residents there. They seemed to be enjoying their time outside under the shade on the porch.

I toured and out of the communities I toured, that was by far my favorite. Immediately when I walked into the facility, it was bright, open, and kind of put me at ease right off the bat. If the time comes that my mom is going to go into assisted living, that would be the place that I would select. Their apartments were a decent size and I like the fact that it was a separate room. So, you had your living room, your little kitchen area, and then a bedroom separate. They have 2-bedroom options. I liked those because they were at the end of a hall, and they overlooked a common area with a little green belt. So, it had nice views. The staff was very nice and helpful, and she made me feel comfortable. The dining area was very cute and also had great natural light. It was my draw to the place, with good windows, and natural light. They were playing bingo when I arrived, which they take very seriously. I was also made aware of the salon that they had.

It is a beautiful place; they had a whirlpool bath, but they were doing construction when my brother visited, and he cannot visualize what something would look like when it’s done. I liked it. The staff was wonderful; she showed 2 different apartments which were very nice. She was open and honest about everything, and every question I asked, she gave me the right answer. They had an outer sitting area -- they even had a gazebo -- and I really liked that.
