We really liked Royston Ridge. It's smaller and there's only about five residents. It was a ranch home converted into a foster care. They made all the doorways really wide and they installed walk-in showers. They had a big balcony where you could sit out there, and they even had a big garden. They grew a lot of their own food and they made their own food there. Meals are home cooked. It was a very homey atmosphere. My father shared a room with another gentleman. It was just a regular bedroom, they share the TV, they read the paper every day, they did puzzles. He just really enjoyed it there. My dad is incontinent and I guess he was on a diuretic pill while he was at the assisted living, so he was having accidents every night. The owner thought that my father was taking the pills so late in the evening at 8 o'clock. So she took it upon herself to call his doctor and find out what time he should be taking the diuretic pill. And all of a sudden, the bedwetting stopped. They really seem to care and understand. My father got exceptional care.
