I was recently at Sun Valley Assisted Living. It was a very nice facility. It was very good and the people were very friendly. The staff was wonderful and worked very hard. The food was quite good, but I don't think they had a large enough portion for residents. The food was very tasty and the cook was very friendly. They just didn't always serve food that I liked, but they were good about giving me an assortment of different food. They would help you in an instant to try to meet your needs. I didn't particularly like the setup that much because I thought they needed a bigger dining room, but other than that, it was OK. They have an activities director who comes in daily and a different one who comes in on Fridays. They do exercises with the people, they have music, crafts, they sing, and people from the outside come in to entertain at different times, so there's something to do every day. Usually they have a couple of activities in the morning and longer activities in the afternoon. They might play bingo or watch movies. I think families would like it. The facility was kept clean inside and out, and they kept the grounds very nice. It's a very nice-looking and presentable place. Would I go back? No. I would recommend it to others, but it just wasn't for me.

Sun Valley Assisted Living LLC was a clean facility. The help was nice. It's in a good location (kind of in the country), but not far from where you get to a town. The rooms were also nice and clean. The price depends on the level of care. The foyer you walk in, where the people would sit during the day, looked very nice. We were happy with the staff. Everybody was pleasant.

My mother is moving into Sun Valley at The Meadows. It's a smaller, more friendly facility. It's only one level. It's nicely decorated and had good-sized rooms. The staff was very nice and was helpful through the process. They have a beauty salon, but they pay for it. TV comes with the room. Cleanliness is very nice.

My mom has been living here for over 2 years and I am fed up with poor service and broken promises. First the positives: Its a nice location and facility and the aides are friendly and attentive. Now for the negatives: The food is subpar, cheap and lacking in variety and nutritious value. Examples, 1. they skimp on fruit, rarely any fresh fruit, just cheap canned junk. 2. Regularly serve hotdogs and cheap protein. 3. Breads consist of white bread and maybe a very rare donut or pastry’s. Overall you would expect better food at a soup kitchen. The water in the shower regularly fluctuates temperature, getting too hot or cold, this is very upsetting to my mother and has not been resolved in over 18 months. This senior living community has so much potential and with a few changes, could be a wonderful place, however it seems like the ownership and senior staff’s major concerns are cutting corners to save a few bucks and deflecting complaints and concerns along with taking advantage of people living in the facility that can’t speak for themselves. I regret the decision to move my mother into this facility.

My experience was very pleasant. My friend looked very happy whilst being there. The staff also seemed very friendly and the place looked very well kept. The building is placed out in the country and has very beautiful fields which just seems to add to the pleasantry of living there. The food there seems to be very well prepared and the cooks are top notch. Their laundry is done for them so they don't have to anything themselves. There's a separate dining room where the residents are served meals restaurant style. The food is prepared there and they have their own cook. They assist her with dressing, brushing her teeth, and taking a shower so they don't fall down

It is in the country and has a beautiful setting with fields and trees. Nice looking architecture, simple and clean-looking. When I went in to look at the building with my wife, it looked like a house except really large. It was extremely quiet and it's all on one floor. My mother has a private room with a private bath. She has a very nice view out her window too. She can look at trees rather than a parking lot or rooftop. It has lots of space. There's a separate dining room where the residents are served meals restaurant style. The food is prepared there and they have their own cook. They assist her with dressing, brushing her teeth, and taking a shower so she doesn't fall down. They do her laundry and she doesn't have to do anything like cook or clean. My mother is almost 99 years old. They have an Activities Director who is very nice and very warm. That's one of the things I noticed right away. The manager for the building has 20 years of experience. Whenever I call her up I know I'll get my questions answered, she always knows what's going on and does what she's supposed to do.
