My father was in this horrible place for 11 months. During that time, he NEVER received an actual bath even though we were paying for it. The place was always dirty and smelled horrible. My father was hospitalized 9 times for infections. The staff was never around when we came in. On one occasion, I came in, took my father out to the car and left, then called to speak with him. I was told he was "in the shower". When I confronted the staff, they became defensive. The next day my father "fell" and got a black eye! We filed a complaint and moved him. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! This happened in 2017!

We came to the facility many times. She had a very cramped room as a visitor there was no room to sit. On more then one occasion this impeccable lady had clothing with holes and stains, unbathed and not groomed. We were embarrassed for her, the staff always knew ahead we were coming. I never saw any crafts she had made. It was a very sad existence sitting around watching T.V.

The rooms at North Pines Assisted Living were very small. They said they had activities. It was kind of small, and it looked like people were bored. They did homemade food.

My dad had used North Pines Assisted Living just for two months and then he passed away. It was a much smaller facility. It was clean and there were no funny smells. Because it was a much smaller facility, they were able to give I believe better one-on-one care with seniors with advance dementia and that's what I was looking for. They were better equipped to assist my father's particular condition. I was impressed with it. The staff was incredible. They were the most caring and loving people. Very genuine. My dad just had a room and it was freshly painted. It was clean, nothing fancy, but very nice. It was smaller yet that's all he really needed. Food was excellent. They actually invited us over the holidays and we tasted several meals there and it was very nice. For activities, they had arts and crafts, regular music, etc. They did exercise with them. They had activities everyday. Overall, they were good.
