Victoria Park at Edgewater is the best senior place I've been to. It's all very nice. You walk into a really nice, big foyer. To the left are the offices, and to the right is a sitting area where there is a fireplace. There is a kitchen where they serve meals. They have a pool table room and a little library. The property manager is very nice and knowledgeable about the property and what's going on. Nobody was in the dining room at the time I was there, but it was very nice looking. They have bingo, knitting classes, and other different things.

The facility manager was very pleasant and helpful. The facility was clean and welcoming. I did not see an apt so can’t speak to how they are. The residents mingled in various areas together, and seemed happy to be there. Many different activities are offered. The one downside is the wait time to gain residency.

The community at Victoria Park was a very accommodating one. Residents were frequently found socializing in the lounge and hanging around the entrance of the building. It is very secure, the only way in is to have a key card issued by the staff or to have a tenant buzz you in. It is rare to see staff walking around the complex, but they are there when the residents need them. Victoria Park offers a small gym for their residents to work out and remain fit as well as a small library which is very nice. The place does not allow extended stays for younger people giving a very welcoming and quiet environment for the people that stay there. It is very nice and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to house those who need assisted living.
