I lived at Pin Oak Village before my husband passed away, and then I moved with my daughter, then she decided to move to Texas, and I don't want to go to Texas. So I decided to call to see if they had another vacancy and she said sure. So it was no problem getting back there. It's beautiful when you first walk in and they have an exercise room. They have washroom dryers in the basement and a beauty salon but are waiting for someone to come back there. So it's pretty nice there. They have a smoking area in the back. They have a gazebo where you want to have a cookout or something. They have a community room, and if we want to have a birthday party, we can. They'll let you have it through. They also have a bus to take you shopping twice a week. They have a meal program twice a month. They have some food trucks come on every first Monday, and then they have a brown bag program, something I'm not familiar with because I don't think I qualify for it when my husband was living but they have some food programs. Taylor was very nice and respectful, and she helped me out a lot.

I liked Pin Oak Village. I liked the location, near a bunch of stores that I frequently use. They had a pool and a gym there, and they had a lot of amenities for active seniors. There were plenty of grounds to take a walk on or ride your bike. It was very nice and well-kept. The staff who showed me around was very knowledgeable about the property and about the area. He was nice.

This is not a safe place to live . Residents cars have been stolen and broke into . The A/C system they have is poor . If you yourself or a loved one would like to live here PLEASE MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE . The lighting is very poor at night . You do not feel safe . Yo really feel like the property team just does not care . They care about your rent money or income for paying the rent . Do not move here !!!

I toured Pin Oak Village and I liked it a lot, but they wanted a lot of personal information and details from me which I did not want to provide. The information that they needed had nothing to do with me renting an apartment. The apartment that I saw was very nice and well-kept, and it was a good size. They would give you a parking space. The people were very nice. The lady who took me on the tour was extremely nice. It seemed like a very nice and safe place for me to be. They had all kinds of activities in their activity rooms. If you have a guest from out of town, they have a suite for them to rent for up to four days. It was just really accommodating for seniors.

When I visited the community of Pin Oak Village, I got a chance to speak to some of the residents and they were all very friendly and seemed very happy with their stay there. Some of them had been there for many years. I liked that they had a library because my dad does a lot of reading. I liked that it was clean, too. They had a large party room/dining hall and on that particular day of my visit, they were using it to celebrate someone's birthday. It just seemed like it had a very welcoming feel.

I'm staying at Pin Oak Village. It's fine. The location is convenient. It's clean. The staff is very responsive to the needs of the tenants as far as I'm concerned. They're very cordial and professional. Everybody is on their own. We have a food pantry that comes in, but it's not provided by Pin Oak Village, it's through the Capital Food Bank, I think. Before the pandemic, they had Bible study, they have church service, and they have low-scale exercise. There's a class on certain days. We have a mini gym in here. I think the biggest highlight is they have hospitality suites that can be rented out by the tenants for a very short stay for family and friends.

I went to Pin Oak Village. It's very organized, it looked very comfortable, and they had very friendly people. I just looked at a 1-bedroom apartment there. It's very spacious, and very well laid out for one individual. The staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I saw the exercise room. The facility was very clean.

Pin Oak Village is older but well maintained. The leasing folks are very professional. The process in terms of applying is also very good. I have nice accommodations and I'm enjoying the unit and the amenities. They're comfortable and have adequate parking. They have two very clean laundry rooms, which is very important. On each floor they have a common sitting area that's very nice and available. They have a very nice movie theater, community room where people congregate, a library, exercise room, and even a small store downstairs, which is very nice. They also have a hair salon and a lot of the ladies take advantage of that. The staff is very helpful. They had a New Year's Eve activity here as well as a Christmas gathering. They have buses that will come by to take you shopping. They also have other activities in the building like sewing or cosmetics. The price for the rent is reasonable for what you get.

Pin Oak Village was very nice. The person who accommodated me was very helpful and professional and knew her information very well. The dining area looked very nice, and the apartments were also really nice. For just myself, I'm sure it would have been enough space. There were a lot of things that she told me they do. They also have transportation to different places, for shopping and so forth, and activities that they do within the community for the residents.

Some of the things I like a lot about Pin Oak Village is that there's Catholic mass every Sunday in the theater. I also like the idea of their shop where you can buy anything without having to go out. The apartments were very nice. We found that the apartments didn't have a lot of storage space, and we're downsizing so it would be too difficult for us to switch to a 2-bedroom.

Pin Oak Village was very nice. The outside was attractive and looked nice. It was clean and there was no smell. It was well-kept. They gave me a good tour. Their staff was very friendly and very nice. They have activities like bingo and card games. Residents also go on bus trips. They did have an exercise room there as well. Their apartments were nice. They were basically the same as with the other facilities I visited. The only thing I didn't like about it was that they did not include a laundry unit in their apartments. They didn't have a washing machine in there. What they have was a common laundry area and I don't like that. I also didn't like the fact that it was a big facility.

I found Pin Oak Village very clean. However, it's not homey and it felt more like an institution. Most of the people there were in wheelchair, which is depressing to me because I'm not wheelchair-bound. They also don't have a balcony or a patio which I wanted.
