We ended up going to The Springs of Mooresville. They are wonderful. It's still pretty new. My mom was there for three weeks for rehab. The facilities are super and the people are wonderful. Mom thought the food was quite good. The dining room is very open, and there are quite a few individual tables and some were pushed together to make seating for 12 or 15 people. They had two private banquet rooms. It's kind of restaurant-style, so there are quite a few options and Mom said that if you order something special, they will try to accommodate you. If they don't have it on the menu, they go out of their way to make it for you. They have a pub area where they have Happy Hour once a week and all kinds of activities, like they went to movies a couple times or to a park, and they have a complete physical therapy area and hair salon on the premises. The caretakers, nurses and the staff are wonderful and interacted with her quite a bit. Several times somebody would come in and check on her. Everybody was so friendly and helpful and offering to do anything and everything. The facilities were in really good shape. The staff is just phenomenal.
