Me and my four siblings are beyond happy that my 99-year-old mom is at home at Cumberland Trace!! Every single fear we have had for her well-being has been overcome, knowing she is at such a wonderful place. We toured many facilities, but CT was the one that stood above the rest and we got on a waiting list to get Mom in. It took only about three months, well worth the wait. Everything about this place is top notch. The people who have charge over the residents are caring and attentive and truly kind. The staff know Mom by name, even the servers in the dining hall. The residents too are so wonderful. My mom is so happy! We are so relieved for her. She had been living alone independently for too long. Now she has friends to hang out with and her days are not lonely. On any given day she has fun things to do almost all day. She's had manicures, done craft projects, listened to music... I come visit her and we do social events together too, like Milkshake Monday and Cinnamon Roll Social. I'm making friends with mom's friends too. Her apartment is really perfect... she loves the open concept, airy and roomy. Big windows for lots of daylight. Everything is so convenient for her. I just can't say enough about the level of care and kindness at CT. Her physical/health needs are met and I don't have to worry about her. If she ever needs anything, someone is right there for her. I have such gratitude my mom is there finally! And in speaking with other residents who have been there for years, they have nothing but good things to say about CT so that also is encouraging and confirms we made the right choice for my mom. This was the only place we looked at that even had a waiting list so that tells you something.

Cumberland Trace was extremely clean. Everybody was super friendly. They did a good job checking with my dad and even with his meal options. He always had several to choose from. He had three meals a day while he was there and I thought they did a nice job with that, but the cleanliness was a big thing. The staff was all extremely friendly and very personable. They also did a good job. They came in regularly and made sure he was getting his medicines properly and all that. They were all incredibly helpful. It's a nice facility. I thought their prices were pretty comparable to the surrounding area and it was close for me so I could stop in and see him whenever I wanted and take him out for walks and stuff.

My wife had spent some time at Cumberland Trace previously in their rehab, so I knew a little bit about it to start with. I've had some of the meals and I would rate it five across the board. It was a little expensive, but that's about the only drawback I saw on it. My wife stayed in a semi-room. There's a memory care area and my wife was in rehab, but they were very similar in the rooms with a large bathroom and a large bedroom. They didn't show me any activity, but I could see some residents walking around. I saw a crafts room and some availability of space for family visits and whatnot.

Cumberland Trace was very nice and very well kept, but they didn't have very many private rooms. They were mostly semi-private, and they just seemed small. The staff was very friendly. They showed us a list of the activities that they had, and it looked good.

I was at Cumberland Trace and I was very happy there. They had good food, and you didn't have somebody on top of you all the time putting needles and popping pills in you. It was a large place, but you don't have 25 CNAs running around down the halls all the time. I had a room and nobody bothered me. When I wanted something, they were there right away. The food was out-of-sight good. They had wonderful food. I went down to the dining area with a group of us at a table, and I ate three meals a day down there. Normally, I would have taken it in my room, but I just got up and went down there to eat. There was a beauty salon where I had my haircut while I was there. They had bingo games and I'm sure they make trips during the summer, but not while I was there. You had a menu, you told them what you wanted to eat, and they would do it. And if you don't like that, you just tell them you want something else, and they give you something else. They're really easy to work with. I felt very good about their care and services. I was very satisfied with all of the staff. I never saw anything that wasn't clean.

Cumberland Trace was a very clean and very organized place. All the people seemed to be happy and content. The lady who toured me around was very helpful and she had all the information that I asked for. She showed me a nice little apartment. The dining area was clean and situated nicely so that even if you had to use your walker or wheelchair, it would be easy to get to and through. They have several things that they do every week and then they have special things that they arranged for them to do. They were playing bingo when we were there and on the list of schedules was a museum trip and movie nights in their common room.

The tour I had at Cumberland Trace was nice. The lady was very nice. She did a good job. The apartments were fine. For me, I'd have to get rid of everything, because the rooms were small and had no real storage. Just enough room for your clothes. So, that would be the main problem for me, but the place was very nice and very clean. They watch a movie twice a week, they have a room to play games like cards, a beautyshop, a barber shop, and everything you would need.

We visited Cumberland Trace. It was very nice. It was a newer facility. The furnishings were nice. The people were nice. We went up to a room and saw a room and the staff took us on a really short walk around a specific part of the building, but that's all, we weren't able to interact with anybody. The room was nice, but a little small. The staff members were excellent.

Cumberland Trace was very nice, but It is off of a major highway going through Plainfield, IN. They did have a unit for different areas, and the people were very nice; however, it was new, large and seemed overwhelming. It was also expensive; we could not afford it. We wanted independent living to start with, but they didn't have a garage for independent living. It is a good place for somebody, but not for us.

Cumberland Trace seemed like a really nice, clean place. The staff seemed to be really friendly and cordial. It's just not affordable for us. It's in a great and easily accessible place right off the interstate.

Cumberland Trace is a very nice facility with very friendly and outgoing people. It's not really fancy, which is OK because I am more comfortable when something is not extremely beautiful, like you can't touch anything or relax. The place is very open, and the room they showed us around was great. The food is OK. I'm hoping that it's going to be a little better when we move in.
