Both my parents are staying there. The staff is the best. Everyone I have met who works there have been friendly and helpful. from the executive director, intake coordinator, social worker, etc. We love the nursing staff I feel that my parents are getting the best care. ❤️

My wife was at Golden Livingcenter - Indianapolis. They have excellent physical therapy. They were short-staffed, though, so their care was not too good. The care was a mixture. Sometimes you get good care and other times you get bad care. It was clean but there were times when it wasn't. She got Covid there and when we changed rooms, there were feces right around the corner. They could improve on cleanliness and the staff. They get nurses from other agencies and those were good. Sometimes they're better than their own nurses. Some of them need to improve on their bedside manner. Their physical therapy staff was a 5, though. Their food was good. It was fine. It's an older building. Outside, somebody hit the canopy, and there were building materials there for the whole time we were there. They finally installed the camera back. It was on the ground there for at least three weeks. Insurance covered it, but I think it was too high after the insurance ran out. When the insurance ran out, we left. It wasn't worth staying there and paying that kind of money.

I placed my friend in Golden Living Center - Indianapolis for long-term care. It's very nice, the room is very nice and clean, and I'm very happy with the staff there. The food is very good, I've had a few meals with her, she eats all of her meals, and she's doing well. I have taken her to bingo, and a coffee activity once, but she did not mingle much. They're taking good care of her.

This home is a great facility to bring your loved one to. They have the nicest personnel working there. They are always on top of things and know how to make the member living there comfortable and their family members. I would reccommend this place to everyone.

My husband is a residence at Golden Living Center because he is 77 years old and is very ill. He has had three strokes, Myasthenia Gravis, Thrombosis, Diabetes, Sciatic Nerve Pain, High Cholesterol , High Blood Pressure and needs assisted living, as I am unable to take care of him. There is one male worker there my husband does not get along with but the rest of the staff seems like very nice and helpful people. One day while visiting my husband, my 20 year old daughter lost her wallet. All her money, Id's and credit cards were in that wallet. She was broken hearted for days. Three days later we went back to visit my husband. He handed my daughter her wallet. She was so happy. All of the contents were still in there. A nurse at the facility had found my daughter's wallet under a bush, retrieved it and taken it back to my husband. Also the place is always clean. The staff cleans and dresses my husband. Then they bring him to the dining room for meals. There are only two other things my husband and I do not like. The security buzzer they use at night is too loud. Employees and staff come and go all times of night for breaks or whatever. Each time someone goes out after 8 PM, they have to be buzzed in or out. My husband's room is the second one from the door. The second thing we do not like is the staff talks really loud late at night while getting vitals, cleaning a patient or joking with one another. This disturbs my husband's sleep because he is a light sleeper. We have requested he be moved but we must wait until another room is available. That's understandable.
