I have moved into Timberlake Supportive Living. It’s clean, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. It’s just like your home with your mother. I have a nice size 1-bedroom apartment, but I don’t have a kitchen -- just a little kitchenette type thing -- and it’s big enough for me. I have a microwave and a refrigerator that they furnished for me and a nice size bathroom. Each apartment has its own air and heat, and you adjust it to suit yourself. They clean your apartment and change your linens once a week. They also do the laundry and give you medicine if you want. There are 3 meals a day. I’ve been here a month, and today was the worst food. They give you plenty to eat. They open up the dining room early, and they serve you early; you don’t have to sit there and wait forever. You can have as much to drink if you want; if you can’t get it, then they’ll have to get it. You don’t notice the rules; you have more of a freedom here at Timberlake. I would recommend it for anybody.

Timberlake Supportive Living was excellent. You walk in and they have a big two story entryway -- all very open -- a large area where people can sit and talk, a large dining room, and lots of activities posted. They had signs for their menus for the meals, and everything was very clean. It was updated, very serene, and had a nice walking path around it so the residents could get out and walk around outside. The rooms were very nice, and I was surprised at how big it was. They had different buildings, and the one that we toured was the assisted living which is all in one big building, maybe three stories high, and has elevators to get to all the rooms. They have a nurse on duty there. In the other buildings, they had the independent living apartments. It had good security, and the grounds were big enough. Nobody can just jump out from behind the bush and grab you. So I thought it was very nice, and I would like to live there.

I visited Timberlake Supportive Living, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The food was very good. They had a little activity center for the residents to go into, and I thought that was pretty nice.
