At The Arbors at Centennial Pointe, living with Alzheimer's becomes less of a challenge for you and your loved one. We combine the intimacy of assisted living with specialized care for dementia. The size of the Arbors promotes a comforting, calming environment. With no more than 15 rooms, the Arbors co-exists with a sister assisted living facility, yet remains separate. Care is provided in a building specifically designed with the care of the Alzheimer's resident in mind. We consider each resident's own strengths and weaknesses to weave a seamless cloth of individualized care. We also incorporate the latest approaches to this challenging disease into the daily routines and activities of all our residents. It's difficult to even search for proper care while tending to someone with Alzheimer's. Each day presents new challenges to patients and their caregivers. At the Arbors we offer a shelter of care and advice for the entire family.

Centennial Pointe was very nice and clean. The layout was easy, and there was a lot of freedom for the residents to move around. They had great facilities for people. They had a hot tub and massages, which I thought was pretty nice. They had a beauty salon/barber shop and a big dining room. One really nice thing is you go to the kitchen any time of day and ask for something and they'd make it for you. You didn't have to follow the regular meal schedule. Jack assisted us with the tour and he was really very nice, very understanding, and he interacted well with my dad.

Centennial Pointe is a very warm home environment. The people who work there are very caring. I think they definitely care about my mom. I thought the food was really good; my mom did not. The breakfasts are pretty much made to order, and they were very good. I had some really good lunches and some really good dinners when I ate with her. It is a small community. There are activities, and there is an activity director. When she first went in there a year ago, the activities were slim. There are a lot more activities now. They do balance class, and there is a workout class that my mom participates in. They have they a happy hour. They have a private dining room for families. They have a sitting room. There is an activity room that has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and a little kitchen area that families can use. There are multiple outdoor areas to sit.

I chose Centennial Pointe for my mom basically because of the staff and the things there. I like the way they answered our questions and the size of the community, from the rooms to the community as a whole. It's not a very large complex and my mother doesn't do well in large areas, so that works out well for us. We've been very pleased with it. The staff has been excellent. I would rate the value for the money a five. We were pleased that the rates for the rooms were reasonable. We had a choice of four different sized rooms there.
