I visited Sunshine Noel PCH I. The rooms were very clean, seemed spacious, were orderly, and well-kept. The staff and facilities were very nice. The food was very adequate and looked like it'd be very good to eat. They have a TV room, and you can also go to the nice outdoor space with no trouble at all.

I had a very disappointing appointment at Sunshine Noel PCH 1. I think the young lady was confused about the date because she wasn't there when I got there, so I had to wait for her to come. The caregiver who works and lives there said that she's the only one who lives there. I asked her if she ever get breaks and she kind of laughed and said, "Sometimes." I figured that was pretty bad because she'd probably be overworked and her patience level may not be that good if she's not having breaks. It didn't look like they're putting back money into updating the facilities outside of the very basic things. They need a fresh coat of paint with some brighter colors to liven it up because it looked very disappointing. They have old furniture and old decorations. One of the beds was so sunken in and needed a new mattress. I was not happy at all. They didn't have any activities, so they're just sitting around. They can play games, like Scrabble and bingo, but they don't have planned activities. They should spend some money to make the place look nicer and not too institutional.
