I love being here at Magnolia Manor on the Coast. I have a one-bedroom apartment with a covered screened-in patio. It's just like my own house and there are all kinds of activities. I'm in independent living so I just enjoy it. We do all kinds of activities like crafts, games, there's a swimming pool, and exercises. I have my own car, my pet dog, and I have company. I'm happy here. It's a very good value for the money compared to other places.

We toured Magnolia Manor on the Coast. The apartment itself was nice. They do have screen-in balconies. They have both assisted and independent all in the same area. They do little social events like Turkey trot and a Halloween thing where kids and stuff will come through and do trick or treating. So they're still connected with the community.

Magnolia Manor on the Coast was very nice. They had screened-in patios on the first floor and screened-in balconies on the second, but they only serve one meal a day. You can choose two meals, but then you have to pay a little more. Other than that, it was a beautiful place. You have a full kitchen in your apartment. There were a lot of outside trails and fishing ponds. It's faith-based (if people are interested in that) and they had a gym room, a salon for your hair, and all that stuff. It just did not suit us.

I liked Magnolia Manor on the Coast because I had pets and the housing they had was downstairs. I liked the floor plan. The kitchen and living area were divided. I also liked the patio. It was nice and clean. The main lady was gone so I talked to one of the custodians that also does the tours. I went with her and that was Patty and she did really well. She answered all the questions. They had everything, but they didn't have a cleaning service.

We are choosing Magnolia Manor on the Coast for my mom. We had a very good tour of the facility. The staff was very personable, and it all went well. The rooms were spacious and very modern, but unfurnished. The exterior of the building needed to be pressure washed because the bricks had a lot of mildew, but the inside was nice. I saw the menu, and it had two options for every meal. They had water aerobics, bingo, and devotions. They also had a library and WiFi in the common areas, but not in the rooms.

My mother is very happy at Magnolia Manor on the Coast. She's relatively new there, and the staff has been very good on the initial calls and the initial walkthrough. My siblings said the food has been really good. Her room and the staff cleaning it have been amazing. They have a library, a pool, and a beautiful walking path around the lake area.

Magnolia Manor on the Coast was the only place I visited where there was some slip up. Since the marketing girl was not expecting me, she was not there. I waited for two hours until one of the girls who worked there gave me the tour instead. She showed me a couple of apartments. I found them very nice, but also very expensive. They have a very small pool, but it's adequate. The only activity I saw were vans picking up the residents to take them to their appointments. As far as senior living communities go, I would rate them quite high.

My parent has been here for a long time. When we first came here it was great. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was positive and happy. Over the last year, things have changed drastically. The staff is rude and nasty, most residents stay in their rooms, and no bustling around of happy residents. You walk in and if you pass some of the new staff, they don’t even speak. It’s a shame that this facility that I used to recommend to others has gone downhill with the negative energy surrounding it. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone unless things change

I went to visit my grand-mother, near and dear to my heart. So you can imagine how pissed I was when she began to tell me that one of the staff members was rude and disrespectful to her. She put in a maintenance request months ago and to date it still has not been resolved. So when she asked the maintenance guy (in her words - the one with the glasses) about it he got very rude, disrespectful and belligerent with her. Now if I was there, it would have been a problem but since she has to be there without me, I don't want to cause any problems for her. My G'ma is pretty independent but she can't fix stuff, which is why she pays them. You best believe if I visit again, and I see this maintenance guy with the glasses, we WILL have a talk.

I like where Magnolia Manor on the Coast is located. I like the people that we met there too. The place seemed clean. They have a swimming pool and they take residents on trips. The person who assisted me was absolutely excellent. She showed me the 1-bedroom and the 2-bedroom. The rooms were adequate in size, clean, and there was enough room for things.

Magnolia Manor was really nice. It looked like they took care of everything. The people living there looked like they were taken care of well. The grounds were kept well and clean. The apartments were nice, furnished well, and had their own beds. They kept their residents busy. I would recommend them to others.

What I liked about Magnolia Manor on the Coast are the layout and the size of the rooms. There was a walkway around the 3 fishing ponds. I liked the trees and the nice weather. They showed me a nice large apartment.

Magnolia Manor on the Coast is run by the Methodist Church. I looked at one room that is in the process of being renovated. The rooms are nice size, and each room has balcony. It was around lunchtime, but I didn’t get to eat. They serve cafeteria-style. I did go back to a bingo night and I talked to a few people. Magnolia Manor is more industrial-looking because it is non-profit. The rent was lower than some other place. Everybody was very nice. If I had a question, they had the answer. They seemed to have a lot of activities going on. I remember seeing a calendar that had listed something every week. A lot of the tenants drive their own car or they can be driven if they would like to go shopping. A couple of the people that I talked to seemed to be very happy there.

I liked that Magnolia Manor has apartments identical to where my sister currently lives and would make the transition easier. Plus, it was closer to me. The director was very friendly and very knowledgeable, and showed us just about everything we could ask for.

My mom has been in Magnolia Manor for three years. It is the most beautiful one she's been in. It has very beautiful grounds. It is 3-story. They have balconies and porches. I think they have 3 wings, which is about 30 rooms of assisted living of the 120 rooms, and then the rest are independent living. Her apartment overlooks a lake and a fountain. She has a 1-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, but the bathroom is not really wheelchair accessible. However, they had other apartments that were wheelchair accessible. They have a dining room that is pretty nice, and the food is pretty good. The staff is also very good and caring. The management staff is caring, and when you approach them, they listen to you. They also have a nurse there during the day. They have a heated pool and a gym. They have exercise classes. They have a library and a chapel where they hold daily services. They have plenty of places for games and Wii and stuff. They have a pool table also and a hair salon. It is very reasonably priced.

I visited Magnolia Manor, and I chose it because it was close to my daughter. I liked the location and the cleanliness of the place. Everything there was superb. The rooms were clean and well kept up for many years. The dining area was outstanding. The activities seemed quite sufficient.

My wife and I visited Magnolia Manor and fell in love with this place. The newly remodeled 1st floor caught my wife's eye saying how beautiful it is. We were highly impressed with the friendlyness of the staff. Everyone was helpful and it seemed more like a family atmosphere than a assisted living community. My wife and I will definitely be moving to this campus when we are 62! The residents all seemed to be very happy with living there, and told us how much they love it.The grounds were great, and the fishing lakes with the walking paths made it feel homey as well. I also need to mention how clean it is there and how active everyone was. I have already told my children it is where we want to spend our retirement!

This is a lovely independent and assisted living community in coastal Georgia. There are both one and two bedroom apartments available with tiers of services offered. Limited assisted living units are also available. Staff is caring and dedicated. I love that there is an open door to the administrator. Excellent quality food prepared on site. Caution: weight gain a strong possibility. Activities, exercise and therapy pool, fishing lake and walking trail, beauty and barber shop, spiritual support and the much needed TRANSPORTATION is all right here! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The seniors here are engaged in their community as many events are sponsored by or hosted by Magnolia Manor. This is a private pay only community (or long term care insurance). Considering all you get, rates are very reasonable.

My grandfather has lived at this facility for a little over 3 years now. After my grandmother's death I was hesitant to put him into a new living environment, but the staff and residents were more than accommodating. The quality of care is apparent at the front door, where there is always a friendly, familiar face. There have been some occasions where I have been concerned with the immediate welfare of my grandfather, as he suffers from dementia. All such concerns were addressed in an immediate fashion after a simple phone call. Additionally, I always appreciate the effort on part of the staff to keep my grandfather socially engaged, and in high spirits. He participates regularly in group outings, a well as a variety of clubs and activities provided on-site. Anytime he leaves the facility with a guardian, he is required to sign in, and out again. This gives me a sense of security which to me is invaluable. The facility could use some updates here and there, as utilities and ammenities do age, and become obsolete. Aside from this minor issue, I give this facility very high marks. I have full plans to keep my grandfather at Magnolia Manor for his remaining years, and I believe he is happy with this decision as well.
