My father stayed in The Legacy at Walton Ridge. They're nice. That's where he used to live. They have three floors, and they have elevators on their side. They have a community room where it has a television; it's where visitors could go instead of coming into your apartment. It's like a room on the end of the building on each floor. There's a television, a sink, chairs and tables, and a refrigerator. It's where people can go. I would say it's a social room. They're very clean. They're very friendly. Maintenance comes out within 48 hours if you request maintenance. The landscaping is nice. They send you out different newsletters. They had different things in the community before COVID or when the numbers were down. They're nice. They have elevators for people worried about just living on the first floor and they can't get upstairs or whatnot. They have that available for you, so you don't have to worry about that. It is smoke-free. A lot of elder people have different health issues, so that's not a concern.

I have lived in these apartments will be 3 years in June. When I moved in they were new and the first year was okay. The second year came with challenges such as not being able to reset at night a lot of times but I pushed through by the grace of God. Now it’s getting progressively worse and especially the last few months. It sometimes more often than none stink inside the apartments. Most of the time it starts at night and carries over to the next day until maintenance finally steps in. Now it’s happening every few days and it’s getting harder and harder to breathe fresh air. I was here from the beginning and I’m here for the downfall. I’m looking for somewhere else to go because I don’t feel comfortable anymore.

The Legacy at Walton Ridge looked very nice. It's an independent living community. It was kind of isolated and just kind of sat back to itself. There were not a lot of other places near it. It was a nice, quiet community, but close enough to businesses if we want to go to restaurants and everything. It was nicely located so that we could get to where we needed to go in a few minutes, so I liked it. It was a gated community and I thought it was very nice. The staff was very nice, they answered all of our questions, and they were very helpful. We looked at a two-bedroom and the room seemed a little small, but not too small that it wouldn't be functional. Overall, it was a nice apartment. The staff told us about a community room; we didn't really see any other. They had a place if we wanted to plant vegetables and walking paths.

I went to The Legacy at Walton Ridge. The place is nice. The salespersons were very nice. The apartment was small, but very nice. I wouldn't mind being there, but they didn't have a waiting list. These are independent living apartments. She told me that they have a gym, and they have activities that go on. People come in and bring food like that. They would have little dinner parties and things like that.

The Legacy at Walton Ridge was very nice. They had both one and two-bedroom apartments, and they were beautiful. They had everything: a pool, an exercise room, and a computer room. Everything was beautiful. The only thing is they had no vacancies, but they have different senior buildings somewhere else. They had a playground outside for the kids.
