My mom is now at Holly House. It has been an awesome experience. Five minutes after we got there, she ditched the wheelchair and she started walking again. She got some independence. They help her with the issues that she needs. It could not have been a better process. The gentleman who showed me the different places was amazing. It was home-run basically. It stood out way, way above the rest. The food smells good, and my mom has no complaints. The staff knows her well. She knows what my mom can eat and what she likes and they cook everything there, so it is amazing. The staff has been fantastic. The place is sparkling clean, and it fits my mom's needs. They actually moved her to a bigger room when they had a chance. She now has an access to a bathroom off of her room. They're going above and beyond to try to help her. I highly recommend this place.

My mother stayed in Bright Lily Personal Care Home. It could use quite a bit of upkeep and she was very unhappy there. They were treating her like she needed to be -- we just moved here from Florida, where she was in an independent living situation, and this was awful. She spent all her time in her room. She felt like people were overhearing your conversations. The food was terrible. There were one, or two staff people that were very nice, and at that place, they did her laundry, and they cleaned her room. But she couldn't go to the refrigerator and make herself a sandwich. So we got her a refrigerator in a room, and it was during COVID, so there wasn't much to do about it. There were only five people there, and a few of them that were bedridden. It was a terrible situation for her because she was social.

My mom is a current resident at the Holly House: Ms Ebbie just retired on this past Friday , Marie is the caregiver now, and has done a wonderful job of caring for my mom. I refer to the women there as the Golden girls they are so sweet , I highly reccomend this home. Minister J Hunter

Holly House was nice. It was a home that was converted into a personal care home. They had someone on-site to cook for the small number of residents. It was nice but too small for my mom. It would be like living with a friend or something like that. They had a common area where people could watch TV. They said they had activities but not as many as some other places. They had a nurse on-site who prepares the meals and who could help with medication management.

My mom was a resident of Holly House for 8 years until she passed away a year and a half ago. There are just 6 people in the care home. The facility was like a ranch style home with a home-like environment. The caretaker is 24/7, meals are always prepared, medicines always dispensed and the washing, cleaning and caretaking of the individuals were always good. The home was clean as well. I have eaten there on special occasions too. They had some activities coordinator come by and do different games and arts and crafts. They also had a minister come by. I had no complaints during the eight years my mom was there.
