Our family has been so fortunate to have found this "home" for our mother! The staff is attentive and dotes on her like family. They provide on-site activities but also provided literature on adult day services that are available to residents in the area. My mother has a clean, private room to herself and enjoys home-cooked meals prepared onsite with attention to her dietary concerns. In addition, the home has spacious areas for the guests to visit, and for the residents to dine. There is an outside patio that provides privacy from the main street while the residents enjoy sunlight and alfresco dining. This care home has provided our family with the comfort of knowing that mom is in good hands.

This facilility leaves much to be desired. The food is sub-standard, and if a resident voices dissatisfaction in the meal quality, there is a backlash which results in dismissal. I am very dissatisfied with this facility, especially the communication skills of management.

Green Park PCH was very small. It's just a private home that can handle four people. The lady that was there said that she gives out the medicine and feeds them. There was only one lady there when I was there. The physical property itself needs some work. The kitchen needed updating. It was clean, but everything looked kinda old and looked like it needed to be updated. The staff was knowledgeable and able to give me the information that I needed and showed interest. Maybe somebody that needs help but still has all her faculties could live there, but I don't think that they could really handle somebody like dementia patients. If they had two or three dementia patients, I think it would be too much for them. The main street has some restaurants and a grocery store. I would be about maybe 20 minutes from the nearest hospital. It's in a nice neighborhood. The neighborhood had family homes. It was not a busy street.

I visited Green Park in Marietta. It's a house, it had five people in it, and I didn't like it. It's just the feel of it; there were a lot of people who lived there, and it was a house. It had a weird smell to it, too. They also had everybody share the same bathroom, so I didn't like it. The staff was very informative, though, and very nice. I saw the schedule of what they were feeding the residents, and it seemed to be OK. They just need to offer more to their residents, and they need to put in more bathrooms.

When I first went to Green Park PCH, it smelled really clean, and it did not smell of bleach on top of something. It's an older house, the shower and refrigerator were older, but the rooms were clean. They had two patients there, and the lady in a nightgown with socks on had no bedsores, so I thought they really take care of the people there. I was very impressed about that. They can accommodate 3 residents. The staff was great, the lady came from a different location, she showed me around, she was very attentive to the patients that were there, and another person there was a nurse. It was a 3-bedroom house, with one person to a room. They told me they had a mobile clinic that comes in, but you can also take your loved one somewhere else as well, there's a police presence there, it's a quiet neighborhood, and the nurse takes them out to walk around if the residents are able to walk.

Green Pier Park is a quaint little building off of Sandy Plains Rd. in Marietta, GA. Upon first seeing the assisted-living facility, I was skeptical, needless to say, I was wrong. Every visit I had with my grandmother, she had a smile wrapped around her face, grazing each of her ears. She would always rave to me about how much she loved her personal caretake, Esther. I could even tell how much this woman cared about my grandmother too. Beyond the fact that the entire staff of Green Pier Park performs at 110% at all times, they cared more for my grandmother than many people even care for their own. I was never worried with how my grandmother's stay at the Green Pier Park was , for I knew she had the kindest and most tenderhearted hard-working care takers looking over her whenever someone from my immediate family wasn't able to.
