My husband moved into The Holbrook of Woodstock. I think it was the timing more than anything. I was trying to get him into a place as soon as possible. They were brand new, had a vacancy in their memory care, and the rooms were brand new. We got the choice of the room that we wanted. It is a beautiful, spacious room, and it is bright. What I like least about Holbrook, I'd say only right now is that there are only two people in the memory care, and it's not as much of a social environment as I had hoped it would be for my husband. The dining area is beautiful. The food is just average; I've eaten there several times. There are only two people in the memory care right now and the activities are very few. They encourage them to go over to assisted living, but to do that, they have to have a caregiver go with them. They can't go there by themselves. So that's one of the things I talked to the manager about, that I felt that there should be, even though there's only two of them there, more activities with them. They had painting one day, that's about all I know. The place is beautiful; it's like walking into a resort. It's very spacious and beautifully decorated.

Holbrook Woodstock has a lot of amenities and it's open to everybody. The staff is extremely friendly. It's an open floor plan and it seems very bright, and airy as opposed to other ones. It has a very pleasant living atmosphere. I had lunch there and it was very good. They have an informal and formal dining area, so you can choose whether you want a formal meal or an informal meal. They have a swimming pool, an exercise room, and an area with different game rooms. Facility conditions, like maintenance and cleanliness, are fantastic.

I toured The Holbrook of Woodstock. The whole place was beautiful. It's only two years old, so it's very modern and very spacious. The whole thing was just very nicely laid out all throughout the building. It had a beauty salon, an indoor pool, and a hydrotherapy pool. It had a theater and several restaurants. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice. She was a very pleasant lady. The dining room was nice, and our dining experience was wonderful.

The Holbrook of Woodstock was a wonderful place. It was very clean and very nice. The staff were wonderful. The lady put us on a tour and gave me every information that I needed. So, it was very good. I liked the menu. The dining area looked really good, too.

The Holbrook of Woodstock was outstanding, their facilities, and the people there. Kelly was the Community Relations Director who took us around. It's a beautiful facility, people stopped and said hello to us. They have lots of amenities. We liked that facility. You can't go wrong, everything is there. It's a beautiful facility. The people were just lovely and very welcoming. This is a hard time for us to make this decision, so it was nice to feel very comfortable there. The facility is gorgeous. They had a beauty/barber salon. They had two chairs for pedicures. You could get a manicure and get your haircut. You could get massages. They had physical therapists that could come in. They would address things that we would be looking for.

We will move into The Holbrook of Woodstock next month. The entire facility is outstanding. The place is immaculate. The people are outstanding. The facilities could not be beaten, the facilities they provide are outstanding, and you could not ask for more. In addition to the usual amenities, they have physical therapy facilities and an indoor swimming pool.

We went to the cream of the crop, The Holbrook of Woodstock. It's a new facility. It's state-of-the-art. It is probably the best of all of them. They had a great facility. We're very impressed. They seemed to have a lot of activities. They had one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments and they were very nice. We met some of the staff there, and we met somebody that works in memory care. They have a great memory care facility. We're just not at that point right now.

We had a good tour at the Holbrook of Woodstock. The person who conducted the tour was relatively new; but nonetheless, quite thorough. We're primarily interested in independent living, but we also looked at the other level, which is assisted living. We went into the kitchen and saw the menu, but we did not try the food. It's spacious and nicely laid out. There are lots of places that you could go and eat. We went to at least two restaurants there. The facility looks very new. It's nicely maintained. They had one water leak in the place, but they were working on that. The facility was nice in terms of the layout and the care that they give the building and maintenance. The tour was well done, professionally done. The person who conducted the tour was reasonably enthusiastic about doing it and answering our questions.

Holbrook of Woodstock was a beautiful community. The tour was amazing. They had nice facilities. They were new and we really enjoyed that tour. It's a nice-sized property and they offer a lot of amenities. We also had lunch there and it was amazing too. The staff and the apartments were great. Joy was absolutely amazing and they offered so many different things there.

Holbrook of Woodstock is brand new. They offer cottages for people like my mom who doesn't need the care yet. They offer assisted living, which are apartments, and they have 26 different floor plans to choose from. They had the memory care as well and they had all these places to sit outside. They have games outside like bocce ball and corn hole. They had outdoor fireplaces and a garden. They told us all about their amenities. They had a grand piano inside the dining room. I was very impressed, but I don't know if my parents can afford that though. We also saw the cottages. I think that was in the independent living.

I have only seen the cottages at The Holbrook of Woodstock because the building wasn't open yet. They have 16 cottages, and of their private cottages there are only 2 large 3-bedrooms. They're beautiful, very well-equipped, and the whole place is very nice. It's fairly expensive as well, it's around $6,000 a month for a couple but everything is included. They're going to have many things, and you get 700 for food at their restaurant. They have 3-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms and 1-bedroom apartments, and the price would depend on the apartment that you have. It's very nice. Everything was discussed during the tour, and we asked questions. The place itself was very attractive.
