My mom has received extremely thoughtful attention from her caregivers. Incidents of health concerns were handled quickly and responsibly. Good communication between staff and my family has been consistent. I think the food could be better. The courtyard garden is lovely.

We will be moving my father-in-law to Arbor Terrace of East Cobb very soon. It was lovely, clean, very warm, and the staff was very helpful. The apartment had a living area, a bedroom, and a small kitchenette. They had group fitness activities, a dining room that served 3 meals a day, and medication assistance. The dining room was lovely with linen tablecloths and service. We're very happy with it.

Arbor Terrace has provided myself and my family with a peace of mind as my mom was placed in their memory care unit in July! She has been given love and care which has made this transition easier. On her birthday, the staff went out of their way to include my family and to make sure she felt extra special! It’s the little things that are so important during this time. I give a huge shout out and thank you to Mildred O. She has been exceptional with keeping me and my family informed of any changes and making sure my mom is well, safe, and happy! I am grateful we found Arbor Terrace East Cobb!

I am constantly delighted how caring and supportive the staff has been to my wife who is in memory care and to me whenever I have questions or concerns. They have been so kind to my wife. Staff members from management to patient care always make themselves available when needed.

My mom has moved into Arbor Terrace of East Cobb. She was mistakenly put into memory care part instead of assisted living. They realized the mix-up and they're presently putting together an apartment for her in the assisted living facility. All the employees and staff have been nice. The activities, I think they could be a little more varied. The food's okay. The aesthetic and the environment of the assisted living are very nice but the memory care is not nearly as nice. I believe they're taking good care of everyone though which is very nice. They have assisted medication, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. They've got a salon and all of that kind of stuff. They have a lot of music. They have a nice outdoor area for assisted living, not so much for memory care. I haven't been to any of the activities, but I do know there's very little going on after dinner, which is five o'clock. I don't know what they do with the time between then and when they go to bed. I tried the food last week and it was fine. It was okay, it wasn't bad. I think they should do some kind of evening activities, not just having them during the day. I also think the rate should be a little bit lower.

My mom is in the memory care wing of this multi level care facility. I moved her there 2 months ago from a dismal long term care facility in Alabama. Since in their care, her mental state has greatly improved I think due to the attention and care provided. The routine activities including games, live music, gatherings, and outdoor availability all contribute to client engagement . The decor is nice and clean. The staff during the week are all attentive and caring. The area of improvement to consider is the part time staff. More training to address customer service needs pertaining to their job would help with quality of care.

The facility is beautiful and it is a great location. However, there are several staffers who resent being asked to assist a resident and generally have a poor attitude. Night staff is generally the worst with outright disdain shown for residents and visitors alike. Poor resident care when no one is there to watch, but will put on a good show if visitors or family are present. Food quality is sub par, especially when you consider the monthly rate ($$$$) ! Director smiles a lot and will deliver a good first impression, but if you ask questions or complain about anything, then she is defensive and makes excuses. Overall, there are much better choices for your loved one than this facility and for the price, you should expect a much higher level of compassionate care.

Food is awful. Sometimes unedible. Sometimes your loved one will get soup/salad and entree, sometimes just entree. Portions are very small. Mom eats dinner in dining hall then goes to room to eat again as portions are too small. I supplement food all the time. Been complaining for 2 yrs about it, nothing's been done or changed, no improvements in food quality. Considering moving because of this. Spending too much money for such bad food and bad service.

Arbor Terrace of East Cobb was nice. The person who gave us the tour was very nice. The rooms were good, and the dining room was nice. We didn't get a good feeling about the staff, though. Perhaps the one or two people we saw weren't that outgoing. It was a pretty nice facility. I also liked their approach to having a kind of interim community between assisted living and memory care. It was sort of an intermediate situation in which you still had freedom to move about if you knew the place well, but you were more limited as to where you could go on the floor even though you had more control of your actions. The memory care residents were pretty much isolated in their area. So, we liked that about it.

I have been to Arbor Terrace, and it was really lovely. They have a resident little dog -- a very small friendly dog -- which I think is important. The environment was very bright, open, and stately. It gives you a very secure feeling and very solid. It’s beautiful. The staff was young, helpful, and energetic. In fact, they contacted me after I left with that help from a geriatric consultant because my husband’s diagnosis was initially incorrect, we were just lost as to how to handle it, and they were very helpful. They were wonderful and great. They have two levels of memory care: assisted living -- which is standard assisted living -- and then they have what they called bridge memory care which is kind of in between assisted living and memory care. From that unit, you can either stay there or go on to memory care or back to assisted living; it’s really kind of nice. They have full memory care as well. It was clean, it didn’t smell bad, and it was very pretty. I really like the artwork, they put a lot of money for the décor, and they have lovely courtyards, outdoor places, and gardens. Nobody gets lost. Another good thing about it is that they have just gotten their assisted living license. They have just moved from a personal care home to an assisted living.

I like Arbor Terrace because they have a lock off feature in the front. You have to put a code to get in which was nice. Their rooms was larger also, probably larger than any other facility. I would feel comfortable putting my family in the room. It has a water feature outside that my dad can look at, and the staff seemed like they were just happy to be there. I really liked it.

I have been in Arbor Terrace since August. I like it very much. It's very clean, the dining room is very nice. I have two daughters. One is in Kennesaw, one is in Johns Creek so this was the middle. The food is something I don't want to discuss. I don't like the food, that's the only bad thing about it. The accommodations are fine. The staff is great, I have nothing but praise for them. They have bingo, exercise and trivia night. They have people come, play the piano and sing. There is always something going on.

I chose Arbor Terrace for my grandmother because of the location, its cleanliness, the overall facility and the knowledge of the staff. They have walking grounds, courtyards, sitting areas, a barbecue grill. They're family oriented as well. She has her own private bath, private bedroom and she has a sitting area. They provide total care, medications, and meals. Staff could be more knowledgeable when it comes to medication.

My grandmother lived in this assisted living facility for over five years. At first, we really liked the facility. There are numerous fun activities for the residents and the facility itself was nice and clean. My grandmother had a nice apartment to herself and a maid attended and cleaned her room each day.The main issue my grandmother and our family had with the facility was the dining. When she first moved in. she really enjoyed the dining. In fact, my mother and I would visit her for meals on occasion and eat in the dining room. However, soon the quality of the food began to decline. Keep in mind that this facility is extremely expensive. After numerous complaints and conversations, the food really never improved. My grandmother began skipping meals and eating snacks in her room. She passed away in the fall of last year and I was not impressed with how the facility handled it. They never once called to check on her while she was in the hospital. I'm not sure if all facilities are this way or if this was just a bad experience. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

I volunteered at this assisted living home while I was in high school. I thought the facility was very lively and the senior citizens were very enthusiastic about our event. We had a holiday party there and they requested that all the food we brought be sugar-free. This shows that they cared about the health of the citizens. The workers were all very kind and I felt that they really knew what they were doing. The facility was very clean and I saw workers cleaning every time I was there. It is a very well kept up home. I saw a schedule of events that were happening at the facility and it seemed as though they always had something going on. However, there were definitely quieter areas where someone who wanted a little bit more privacy could go. I would definitely trust any of my grandparents at the Savannah Court assisted living home.

My mom was a resident at Savannah Court for 17 months until she passed. The staff was amazing, they assisted her in all her activities of daily living. The dining experience was also very good, always offering an alternate meal if she didn't like what was on the menu. They had programs day and night so that the residents could socialize and also use there brains. The nursing staff was great also, they worked hard to insure my mom not only received her meds, but also made sure that she understood what each med was for. The executive director was always available to our family. The facility was also always available.
