My mom moved in and it was the best place for my mother's needs. The people were incredibly caring, and the facilities were lovely. I've eaten there a few times, and the food was very good. I've talked to other people, and I heard only good things about the facility. The grounds are beautiful, and they have a very nice outdoor patio area with a barbecue and a sunroom. The location is great and has a very good proximity to different things. They have trivia, music programs, chair fitness, movies, games, and special programs for holidays.

Although it was really nice, it was not convenient for my children to visit their grandmother while we were away. It's just out of the area. They made us feel very welcome there. We had made arrangements ahead of time, and they greeted us. They had mom's name on the board, so it was really a nice, warm feeling that you got when you went in there. The tour and room were very nice. They talked to mom separately about her likes, and somebody else talked to my husband and me at the same time. They presented all of the things they have to do there.

It is a very nice community. It is very clean, and the caregivers seemed to be genuinely interested in the residents. My mom is in the memory care part of the facility, and they seem to have an adequate amount of activities for them. The food seems to be good. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with what has transpired so far. There are a couple of really nice courtyards that the residents can utilize that are full of flowers. One has a waterfall, and there are rocking chairs on the front porch. It is open, and it is very light. Parking is a little bit of an issue, but that is basically it. The rooms are of good size, and the bathrooms are extremely large. It is nice and bright. The halls are extremely wide, and the colors are nice. They do a lot of things with magazines. They have a frequent church type service that is handled by volunteers. There are sitting and stretching exercises for most of the people that are in wheelchairs. The memory care people can participate in the events and activities that are primarily for the assisted living group. They have a full time activities director that is always doing something that is fun for them. It is a nice place, and I think I made a good choice.

I saw employees interacting with the seniors and their families that were visiting. There were many Alheizmers patients. I notice employees giving them being patient and compassionate. Some of the seniors were watching TV shows such as the golden girls others were doing karaoke or talking with each other.
