I had some friends who were at The Cottages on Wesleyan and it was a very nice and well-appointed place. They're big enough for independent living. They have individual carports and driveways. They keep the grounds very neat. If they want to, they can take meals at the assisted living or they cook their own meals or take meals at the assisted living so they have an option of food choices (their own or prepared). The place was very well kept. My friend's room had a little dining area, kitchen area, a little sun porch area, a little living room, and two bedrooms. Based on my interaction with the staff, they were very good. They have van trips to go to doctors or to go shopping and they even take them for their prescriptions. They have activities for their residents, like games, and occasionally, have people come in and play music.

The cleanliness of The Cottages on Wesleyan was good and their maintenance was also good. I liked the fact that the foyer and the common area didn't have carpet in it and the rooms were nice. They were wide enough for one person. It was a nice facility. The employees were nice as well.

I like The Cottages on Wesleyan. The only thing I don't like about it is it's located in a busy section of town. If it's the right time of day, you would have a hard time getting in and out of your place of living. It was very nice and well-kept. If they would put a red light down the street from them instead of a four-way stop, it might help the traffic situation. Everybody was wonderful to me and I met some of the senior citizens that live there and enjoyed my time there. The staff was very nice. They serve meals there. If you wanted to eat, you could. It is just nicely kept and there were people busy helping, taking care of things that need to be done for people and that's what I need. It would be nice to be able to call for help when I needed it. They took me to two different apartments and showed me around. They were willing to open back up and show my children if they wanted to come and see. The rooms were nice and nice sized.

The Cottages on Wesleyan was my favorite in terms of the people because of the community feel, and more people seem to know each other. I just felt like it was homier and it felt like a tight- knit community. The facility is beautiful, a little old but still nice. The 1-bedroom had a sunroom with an ensuite half bath. They had food service where you could have food delivered, which I thought was nice.

We went to The Cottages on Wesleyan. The house that we visited was very nice. The homeowner had redecorated the house, and it's very spacious. The only problem was when we got there, we found out they had a waiting list. The property was beautiful. The staff was friendly. It's easily located. It's nice and spacious. They gave great information. No amenities were shown. We were just shown an apartment.

I visited The Cottages on Wesleyan. They were very nice. They provide activities and a meal every day. There's one- and two-bedroom cottages for independent living. They have games and activities. There are groups of people playing bridge and different card games. The lady that I spoke to in independent living, she entertained other people there. She's a very social person; she was nice and very thorough. The cottage that I saw was a two-bedroom and it had a sunroom and a patio in the back. It was very nice; you decorate it the way you want to.

We visited The Cottages on Wesleyan and we were favorably impressed. We will probably go there maybe in another year or so. It was quite nice. The person that took us around was very helpful. It's a new facility and is well kept. I think they have an exercise room. The facility is an attractive place.

The Cottages on Wesleyan was beautiful. We really like it and it was just a gorgeous setting. We love the way the homes looked more like a neighborhood. It seemed like something that my mother-in-law would be more comfortable; it would be less of a transition for her. The person who helped us was good. We went there earlier in the day so we didn't see as many people out and about. I like that people could call and they would deliver their food to their homes. It didn't seem there were many activities as there were as many people. I saw their calendar; it looked like they had lots of activities.

At The Cottages on Wesleyan, I would be able to get my dining room and furniture in, and I have a big breakfront that I can maneuver. There's space enough in there for it. The drawback is that it does not have a pool and I swim on a regular basis, but everything else is positive. Everything is on one floor, so that's very attractive to me, and they have a one-car garage. They're extremely friendly. It's right near the shops here in the city. The location is excellent. They are cottages and you have your front yard and a patio out back, which is everything that I need. There are people on the grounds that are available to assist you if you want some planting done and they can accommodate that. Everything went smooth. They're so inexpensive compared to what a homeowner is paying on a monthly basis.

The Cottages on Wesleyan was really nice. It was a little more upscale, but the rooms were smaller, and it cost a lot more than other places. It was really clean and had high-end furnishing for the main room. The rooms were very pleasant, had really nice little kitchens, big bathrooms, big walk-in closets, but the bedroom wasn't quite as big. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Love tHe Cottages on Wesleyan! My mother lived in independent living at the Cottages on Wesleyan for 13 years and loved it. Last Fall she decided to move to assisted living because her eyesight had gotten worse. She has adjusted so well due to the family like atmosphere and attention the great staff gives each. resident. They are always willing and happy to help her. I feel very confident she is safe and cared for in a wonderful home.

The independent cottages at The Cottages on Wesleyan were very modern, new, and spacious, and had brand-new appliances. The one-bedroom had another room that was considered a sunroom, which could be used as a second bedroom. So as far as facilities go, it was very nice. They had high ceilings, lots of windows, and large bathrooms. However, they didn't offer many amenities.

Housekeeping and laundry, the staff members, and the activities are excellent. The food is good within existing budget constraints; more green veggies needed. Overall, it is a very friendly and positive atmosphere.

My mom has lived at The Cottages on Wesleyan for over 2 years. I have been extremely happy with the way management and the staff takes care of my mom, responds to requests, and maintains a pleasant environment for the residents. The food and activities are excellent, as well as the nursing staff. Residents are given the respect they deserve, and the guidelines they have for the residents give me the assurance of a peaceful, high standard of living for my mom.

I moved into assisted living 8 years ago and have been well-pleased and very happy. I felt at home immediately and have made many new friends. The staff is always courteous and friendly with 2 nurses who keep a watchful eye on our health and welfare. We are well-entertained and have many activities to keep us busy. The maintenance staff is always willing to help as needed. They take us to medical appointments which is a must for those who no longer drive. I feel safe and secure in my private suite. I highly recommend The Cottages on Wesleyan to those who are looking to downsize and find a safe and comfortable new home.

When you decide it's time to move to a retirement village, you probably listed your wishes for your place as I did. Then I, as will you, researched and visited the places. I chose The Cottages on Wesleyan because they offered far more in facilities, safety, maintenance, staff, landscaping, and food than on my list. They made it my home.

From the first introduction to the director until now, every person has been warm, welcoming and ready to answer or serve my every question and need. This has been such a blessing since I lost my husband in March and we lived in another state so the comfort, safety, and sincere caring have been true answer to prayer.

We really liked The Cottages on Wesleyan, but they didn't have any vacancies. The director was very professional and answered a lot of our questions. The place was very pretty and very clean. It had a good atmosphere and a nice appearance. The residents were playing bingo and seemed like they were having a really good time.

I visited Cottages on Wesleyan. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We were only there for about an hour, but the people that gave us the tour was very friendly. The rooms and the apartments were just as nice as the one where my parents were. They actually had a full kitchen, which was really nice, but they only had one bathroom. The dining room was smaller than where my parents were and probably not as nicely set-up, but it was still welcoming and comfortable.

When I went there, the facility itself was very clean. They had activities. They had a lot of resources like a van that would take you to the library. They had an in-house beauty salon. It's basically a full service facility and you could stay in your apartment for as long as you want and as your need increases, then you could change and go to different levels of care. They're very nice. But they do not offer medicaid coverage and I couldn't afford them. If they could afford it, I would recommend it to others.
