I toured Antebellum Grove Senior Living. They showed me everything. They have a nurse or somebody there all the time. I like the look of it from the outside. It's in an orchard so it's nice, shady, and inviting. There's a good place to go outside and walk your dog or whatever you want to do. I would rate it very nice. The staff members were very nice, very friendly, and very thorough. The place was very clean. They had some out for snacks and that sort of thing when I was there. The structure of the building was very pretty. They have a nice elevator. There was a central location you could get to quickly. The rooms were small but pretty clean. I didn't see anything bad at all. Everything was very neat. It felt like walking into somebody's home. It was set up with a place to sit down immediately if you needed to. There was somebody there at the desk asking how they could help and that sort of thing.

The only reason I didn't like Antebellum Grove Senior Living is because it's too old. It's like an old colonial house turned into a nursing home kind of thing. I didn't get the same vibes that I got from the other two I toured. It just reeked of oldness and I didn't like that. It was a nice place, but it needed some work, as far as I'm concerned. The staff was good. She was very patient with me and answered my questions, but it was a short interview. That's not a place I'd want to put my wife right now. They had playrooms for the memory stuff where you could do puzzles and things of that nature. It seemed like you didn't have a whole lot more than anything else. I didn't get the right vibe from it.

The tour at Antebellum Grove Senior Living was awesome. The lady who toured me around was very informative and showed me different room settings. She showed me how I could set up the room to make it convenient for my mother. She showed me the different floor plans they have, the different care, and the different units they have. I saw a private room, a studio room, and the one-bedroom suite. She took me in the memory care unit. She explained to me the different activities that they do and showed me their calendar of events. She was very informative. I can also use their respite stay. They could keep her up to 10 days in case we want to go on vacation or something. It was nice to know, in case I needed to do something. I just needed to let them know a few days in advance. The staff was very patient. It wasn't a rushed tour. She dedicated the time. She had a lot to inform me about everything that they had there to offer.

I had an in-person tour of Antebellum Grove Senior Living. The place was very nice. The staff that took us for the tour was thorough. She showed us a studio apartment that was similar to the one that would be available. What they had available did not fit our needs at this time. But as far as the tour, it was nice. It was just one type of room they had available right now, and the price was out of our budget. The staff showed the dining area and where they posted the meals. They had a hair salon, but we didn't tour it. We asked about transportation to and from doctor's appointments, and they had that. We toured the gym, and it was nice. The staff told us that family members are welcome to come and use the gym with the residents. They had a common area and a nice outdoor area that the patients could go outside. They're famous for their front porch with rocking chairs. I thought it was very close to a busy street and that kind of concerned me. The road was a very busy street, and the back door opened up to that. They had a huge yard out there, but there was no fence or privacy hedge or anything like that. There was no barrier to the street, and the residents could just walk out there.

We went to Antebellum Grove Senior Living and it was real nice, but they just didn't have an opening. The rooms were nice. The staff was very good, very professional, and adequate in numbers. If they had an opening, we would've gone there. The dining area looked fine, and it kind of fit the rest of the surroundings. They were playing Bingo in one room and other people coming and going. It was well organized.

Antebellum Grove Senior Living was where I placed my cousin. My cousin liked it too. They had a partner room which was like a bedroom with a sink, a microwave and a refrigerator and then you shared a bathroom with the person across the hall with the same type of room. The staff was great. They looked after my cousin really good. She had some problems with wandering down the stairs, so the staff was right on top of that, and they would call me. They had some activities like they took a bus, and they went to like a healthcare center. She was not into games, but they had games there like bingo. They had crafts. You could walk on the grounds, and she enjoyed that. She loved the food.

Antebellum Grove had more activities, and they were going to have somebody to monitor my mother's health better -- her blood pressure and PT/INR -- because she takes Coumadin. I am more impressed with the activities, and there was an activities director. The tour was more impressive; they had a hair salon right there, and everything was nice. It's probably where we would go. They had an actual physical therapy place.

Antebellum Grove Senior Living was fine. It would have been our first choice, except my sister found a facility near where she lives. I liked it. They have private rooms, and they were really clean and nice. The staff who gave us the tour was very nice. The residents looked fine.

Antebellum Grove provided us with a lot of information. They walked us through the facility, and it was really nice. We went in one of the residents' apartments that has a two-bedroom, and we also got to visit inside a one-bedroom to see the layout of it. They showed us some of the residents who like growing their tomatoes. So if you want to grow fresh vegetables, they have a little space for that as well. Overall, it seemed really nice. Also they have some activities as far as the library and an area where you can do class. They were really nice. As far as assisted living, I would give it a 5, but as far as independent-assisted living, I would give it a 4. I think Antebellum Grove is more for assisted than independent. Even though it was really, really nice, it wasn't as bright or cheerful as the other place was because the other place was more independent living.

Antebellum Grove Senior Living was very nice and clean. They have an upstairs and downstairs facility. They had dining on both floors. It was a very nice place. However, the facilities I was sent to do not have enough men. They are not diverse enough. She did show me one room there, and it was adequate. I was looking for a place where they can have care while you dropped them off for the weekend. But that facility does not have that. The people were nice. The lady that showed me around was a very nice lady. She showed me the board with the daily activities. They play bingo, and they read. It was nice, and I like it. It was very clean and neat. It was a very nice place, which had upstairs and downstairs facilities for the seniors.

I have visited Antebellum Grove for my mother. It was beautiful. It was an absolutely gorgeous and wonderful place to be. It was very nice. It was very beautiful inside. The rooms were nice. The people were very friendly. It was a very nice place. It was very clean and really kind of upscale -- inside and outside. They have a shuttle bus.

Antebellum Grove was one of the two facilities in Warner Robins that actually had high ratings and it was available at the right time. They do bingo, they do church services, they occasionally arrange shopping trips. They have nurses on duty.

The facilities were very nice. However, there were a lot of complaints about how the staff treated some of the residents. If you weren't liked, it was well known among the residents and those who visited regularly.

Antebellum Grove is a wonderful assisted living facility. The building is very clean and decorated nicely. It is a beautiful white building with black shutters housed on a large landscaped lot with plenty of trees. It is in a really good location in town, close to everything with low crime. There is a nice porch and balcony with chairs for the residents to sit in and overlook the beautiful grounds. The resident's rooms are clean and updated. The staff I came in contact with were very caring, and the administrators likewise seemed to really love their residents. The activity director had many activities planned out for the residents, including exercise classes, bingo, and community outings. The only complaint I heard from any residents was about the food, which I didn't try so I can't comment on. The facility also has a dementia unit that was likewise well maintained and clean. If one of my loved ones were in need of an assisted care facility I would not hesitate to place him or her here.
