I moved into Watercrest Buena Vista. The people who run the place are extremely friendly and very, very helpful, and they're there to answer any questions I may have. They've been positive and responsive. As far as the community itself, I like it. They're very friendly. I don't have anything negative to say about them. I'm happy and I like it where I am now. The apartment is very nice. I have a one-bedroom apartment with one-and-a-half baths. The maintenance people were very helpful. They installed my TV in my room, and hung up some pictures for me. For common spaces, they have a library, a workout place, and game rooms. There's a swimming pool and a barbershop. The staff is really good, and it's also within my budget.

Watercrest Buena Vista was probably the best one that we toured. It was the most well-kept. The amenities were outstanding. Everything was excellent about it. In my opinion, it's a very, very nice place. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very friendly. They had like a garden area and an outside area where you could walk around.

We visited Watercrest Buena Vista to see their memory care for my cousin's husband. It's in the middle of The Villages. They have live entertainment that comes in to entertain the guests and the people living there. Everything in this place was impeccable and clean. All the places we looked at, like the rooms and the open areas for the people living there, were nice and clean. The place was very cheerful. The staff was wonderful as well.

I toured Watercrest Buena Vista. It was well-kept, current, and up-to-date. It was a positive interaction with the staff, they were helpful with the tours and information. The only thing that's not clear is, that this whole routine of a waiting list is like a mystery inside of a black box. They try to keep it that way and tell you, well, we don't know what's going to happen in so many different situations, but their very business is knowing what the percentage likelihood of people moving out, the turnover, and the rush to make a nonrefundable deposit of $3,000 to get on this waitlist. Initially, it was kind of characterized, as maybe if you get in December or January, you can still get the 2024 rate. Then we look at being on the waitlist for 2 or 3 years long. I have to force myself to have a little faith, and hopefully, things work well.

We toured Watercrest Buena Vista. It was just a very nice place. The apartment though was a little smaller than other places we looked at. We didn't have that much interaction with the staff.

Watercrest Buena Vista was very nice, open, bright, and they had a beautiful courtyard where that day they had scheduled a very well known performer to give a concert. They invited us to come back and attend the concert. They had a beautiful dining area. They gave us a little package when we left, a little box with some cookies in it, which was nice. The set up was basically the same: a library, a craft room, an outdoor swimming pool. Lots of planned activities, transportation to appointments within a certain number of miles. They have transportation that you can sign up for to attend concerts and trips. They have a bus or a van that takes people shopping to all of these activities, medical or social. The drawback for us was two-fold, we're not ready to commit, and it was expensive.

Watercrest Buena Vista was like a five-star hotel. It was very nice and very clean. The people were extremely nice. The people that were there seemed to enjoy being there. The rooms were very nice. The amenities were excellent, too. They had a pool, a bar, a very nice restaurant, a movie theater, and an indoor garage for parking. I like that they're affiliated with The Villages, so they get a village card and can do any of the amenities in The Villages. That was my number one place. If I had to go there, I would. That's how I liked it that much. The staff was excellent.

Watercrest Buena Vista had very nice common and upscale areas. It was very clean. The residents seemed to be very pleasant and happy. The staff was very accommodating. They explained how there is someone on call at the push of a button. But the apartments were very small for two people. They were a nice layout, and they had large accessible bathrooms. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The menu looked good.

We liked that Watercrest Buena Vista had a covered garage for a golf cart and a car. The one bedrooms were nice. It's small, but it had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer inside. The staff was also very nice. We enjoyed the lunch. It was pretty good.

Today I went by the facility with my family friend to see her loved one and I must say. WOW beautiful community. We went to the memory care area and I must say I LOVE all the changes that we saw. We met the MC director and she is absolutely wonderful! Hearing her love and passion for what she does not only can you hear it you can feel it coming from her heart and you can’t find that in many places. You just fall in love with what she says because it’s pure and genuine ! She is wonderful and has beautiful ideas to facelift the unit. Watercrest Buena Vista will have THE BEST Memory Care Unit in all of Sumter County Leadership and looks. We look forward to seeing it progress and final products. Whoever hired her give yourself a pat on the back she will be an HUGE and INSPIRATIONAL asset to Watercrest and for those she works with and please share with her MC families and friends have full faith in what she is doing and support the changes. If you are looking for memory care GO GO GO to Watercrest and feel the love we felt. Sorry for going on but it’s hard to see someone so young love what they do and positivity isn’t given often. Please pass along. Thanks - MaryJane

Facility cancelled via voice message the day before our scheduled tour. They left two numbers to call to reschedule but never returned any call backs (multiple). Never was able to tour facility and ended up choosing another one appropriate for my relative.

The Watercrest Buena Vista's independent living was very attractive. The dining room looked good, they had that covered pretty well. The rooms were spacious and had lots of light. Those were the things that I liked. I didn't have that much interaction with the employees but they seemed friendly enough. I was there for lunch and the food was very nice and well-presented, and it seemed like they had a variety there. They had a game room, movies, a swimming pool, and crafts, and I think they took trips too so it was a well-rounded activity.

My father has moved into Watercrest Buena Vista. Our overall experience has been very good. The community is modern and clean. They seem to give a lot of personal attention. His room looks like any standard small efficiency apartment, or a one-bedroom apartment. Maintenance is taken care of properly. They enjoy the food very much. The dining area is restaurant like. The staff is very kind and seems to take a very personal attention to his care. He participates in board games, exercise sessions for wheelchair bound people, and he enjoys the music performers that come in. It's just very expensive.

We toured Watercrest Buena Vista. It was beautiful, and my mom loved the apartments there because they have a lot of natural light. The woman who helped us was great, and she continues to call me. She was amazing. The place is beautifully decorated. It has a very Palm Beach kind of feel to it. It is nice and bright. The dining spaces and communal spaces were very high-end. The apartments had a lot of natural light and good space. There were railings throughout the whole place like in the hallways and everything, so it was very well set up. They had a call system. The only issue is it was more expensive than the other ones. It was on the higher edge of their price range. My mom loved it, but my dad would have hated it. We toured both independent living and assisted living. It's very clean and it looked beautiful. Everything seemed to be in its place. You can it was decorated by a designer, like an interior designer came in and did the place. It's very high-end.

Watercrest Buena Vista was very nice, and the tour guide was great. They have a lot of activities, a pool, totally covered parking (which is nice), a fitness room, bridge games, tours and trips, etc. It was clean and well kept. We were looking for a two-bedroom-two-bath, and that's probably what we like the most.

We went and it's very nice. It's new, clean, it has beautiful amenities, the restaurant is excellent, and the location is excellent. It has an inclusive garage and it includes a washer and dryer. It has a nice view, too. It has a pool, a theater, all kinds of arts and crafts, a barber shop, a beauty shop, and it has really lovely amenities. They could have better parking for the guests. They have limited parking and far to walk.

It is a new community. It's wonderful. They take people out shopping, they take them out to restaurants, they have regular activities like games, and they have a cocktail hour. The staff members were very good.

It is very professional, very clean and upscale. The staff was very professional, welcoming and friendly. The place itself was very open and very welcoming. The carpet was clean and new. They showed me a sample room, which was very nice and spacious. If my mom didn't need memory care, she would have moved in there.

It is very nice, friendly, and home-like. I was very impressed with it. The person who gave me the tour was excellent, very personable, friendly, and she knew all of the residents. The people who have eaten the food said it's excellent.

I visited Elan Buena Vista but I didn't feel like it's a good fit for me. It's actually brand-new, they just finished building it last year. It's a beautiful community but I just didn't feel comfortable there. The apartment wasn't really big enough because I have 2 electric wheelchairs and three walkers, so getting around wouldn't be easy. I also wasn't a 100% impressed by the assisted nursing services. So therefore, we decided not to go there even though they have availability, although it's not a 2-bedroom.
