After touring other facilities in and around The Villages, I walked into Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living and felt an instant connection that my dad would enjoy living here. My dad really likes the building's layout, beautiful decor, and cleanliness (and he is picky!). Each staff member and resident I encounter seem genuinely happy to be there. His 1-bedroom apartment is spacious and everything he wanted to bring fit nicely. He likes the dining room and variety of meals served, and the serving staff are welcoming. I have been impressed with the nursing staff who are attentive and kind, and quick to respond when needed. The directors and marketing counselors continue to go above and beyond to help him (and me) get settled and involved with his new community. Living out of state, I feel comforted that my dad has a strong network of people to help him when he needs assistance.

Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living was very nice and clean. The director of nursing showed us around. She was very helpful and friendly. Regarding security, you have to sign in to visit somebody.

Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living was a beautiful and friendly place. The quality of the residents that I saw there were good. They were up and about, and everyone looked happy. There was a lot of chatter in the lunch area. The tour person was very friendly and informative. She was the most pleasant person I've ever met. She also described the different neighborhoods they had since the facility was set up in different neighborhoods with similar names. The rooms were humongous. They were really big. They had several room sizes available and they were more affordable, too. We didn't get the chance to taste the food, but they were nice enough to invite my parents over so they could enjoy a meal. They even said so much that I could come and join them. The dining area was open all the time, so there's no fixed time.

I will be staying at Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living. One of the reasons that I chose the place was that it's a medium-sized facility. I can't believe how the staff, even the guy pushing the broom, is wonderful. It's privately owned, and I enjoy its culture. That's why I'm going with them. I've gone down for some meals and whatnot, but I haven't been to the physical therapy area yet. They have a lot of activities, and everybody's welcoming. The staff goes out of their way. You ask for something and they get it. Like today when I came in, I was having some difficulties walking and the gal came over to see if I was OK and she got me a wheelchair. She didn't even ask. I just thought that was great. They seem to be very aware of what's going on and they're knowledgeable, talking to the gal at the front desk, as an example. If she doesn't know, she'll get you the answer. I've had three meals here and I find it not quite as spicy as I liked, but I can always add to that. I find the food good and has a nice variety. The menu changes daily, but they also have some regulars that are ongoing, like a sloppy joe or whatever that somebody might want instead of the fancier things. They keep trying to get me to park in front of the dessert counter, but I won't. The hot stuff is hot. Everybody is very friendly. They notice a new face, any time you're on the elevator or coming in the door or going to have a meal. Every time I sit down at the meal, somebody comes by and says, "Can I join you?" The residents I've met so far are all very nice. There are a lot of scheduled classes and activities. There's a theater and there's cabaret night at the bar. They have special activities for holidays, and there's a library.

We toured Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living. It's very nice. They don't have independent living. They have nursing care. The rooms were adequate. The food was good. The dining area was very large. The staff seemed very happy. The residents enjoyed being there. They were well taken care of.

We visited Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living. They only have assisted living. It's a different kind of assisted living and that's what I like about it. In my parents' case, my mom doesn't need any assistance and my dad does, so it's a great situation because it gave my mom her independence while still giving him the services. My mom thought the apartments were dark like there wasn't a lot of natural light, and that was an issue. The staff members were great. They were very helpful and very knowledgeable. The dining area was kind of like a café, so it was nice and bright. But it was a little more cafeteria-style. They had arts and crafts, they had a library, they had group classes and exercise classes, and they had physical therapy.

We have chosen Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living for my parents. My mom had been there before for rehab, so it was easy for us to move them. We had to do it within a matter of two days. My dad was in the hospital, and he was getting released. We live a thousand miles away, so we needed to get something done super quick. They were super helpful to help us do that. They have provided all the services that we really needed for my parents. They also have all kinds of stuff, like Bible studies, classes, reading clubs, dancing, and little social get-togethers. They have more than enough to keep them busy.

I toured Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living. They have apartments. It was clean and nice, but very small. The staff was very nice, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. She knew the residents well. Whoever was in the hall, she knew. The place was decent, the room was just smaller than I'd want. They take people to doctors and to shop if they wanted.

My mother is in Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living. There are three facilities in the area that I looked at and they were all nice, but this one was the closest. Everything is great, good food, good staff. It's a nice place. I haven't had any negative. They're always nice. They get the job done. She likes the food a lot. They have activities. Everything's clean, nice, and well taken care of.

We checked my dad into Buffalo Crossing a few days ago and thus far have been very pleased with the facilities and staff. I have not been able to be there yet but my family tells me the facility is beautiful and the rooms are all private for PT rehab patients. This was my impression from the website. Admissions was very helpful with facilitating admission and the transition from the hospital. Nursing , PT and all staff I've with whom I've had interactions have been receptive to my (often repeated and late night) phone calls. They have handled all my questions and requests with patience and care. My dad has said everybody has been very nice even though he is putting up a fight for a walker. This makes me feel good because staff is able to maintain a good relationship with him while maintaining his safety. He also said the food was good which is great because he has always loved to cook. I am looking forward to visiting when it is safe for me to do so as they are strict about their Covid safety protocols which also makes me feel more confident for my dads safety at the facility.

Buffalo Crossings was very good. The rooms were well-proportioned for assisted living. The person who toured me was very good, friendly, knowledgeable, outgoing, and trying to help. The dining room was very good and they had a little station that was open around the clock so people can get something to eat. The meals sounded very good. They also showed me a calendar of activities. It was a fairly new community and the cleanliness, professional, and layout were very good.

Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living is a fairly new building. As an assisted living, we could get a two-bedroom apartment, but the rooms were a lot smaller than what we are used to. The food was good. We saw the activities available, but we didn't see them doing it. It's a beautiful community.

I liked Buffalo Crossings Assisted Living because it had a lot of activities and the staff was very nice. The dining hall was great and the food was good. They served three meals a day. They also had transportation for the residents. The place was beautiful, clean, and shiny. We saw a couple of studio apartments and a 1-bedroom. The studio could accommodate a bed and maybe a couple of chairs, which I didn?t like at all.

Buffalo Crossings was very nice, the building was new, and everything was acceptable. The food was good, but it was too expensive.

My mother-in-law liked the activities at Buffalo Crossings and the way that it looked. She plays Bingo, and they have exercise classes. Their meals are open from 7 to 7, and they can go anytime they want. She is going to be seeing the doctors that are associated with Buffalo Crossings. They come straight there, so she does not have to go anywhere.

My aunt is in Buffalo Crossings, and we are very pleased with it. The staff gave us a wonderful tour and even invited us to stay for diner. They have a wonderful set up. The meals are available anytime she wants to go down from 7:00 in the morning until 7:00 at night. There were menus for her to choose the meals from and a snack bar that she could go to at any time. They have bingo, a movie room, computer classes, cookie baking, cards, and a lot of activities. It is a wonderful place. They have a library, an activities room, exercise room, and sitting areas all over the place with tables where you can sit down and work on a puzzle. Every afternoon, after lunch, they have some sort of entertainment in the main area, like singing or a band or something like that. They have a bus or transportation to take them to stores or to doctors' appointments. She is in good hands and adjusting. It is difficult to go from being independent to being somewhere else. However, she is doing really well. She is happy there.

My sister goes to Buffalo Crossing. It is brand new, so there aren’t a whole lot of tenants in there yet. It is very nice. The apartment is very nice, big, bright and clean. When she moved in, she told me it was much bigger than she remembered. She is very impressed with the meals, so the food is excellent. For the short time that we are there, I did not notice any activities, expect for people walking around and having their own lunch.

I am very happy here at Buffalo Crossings. It’s a new 3-story building, and they have room for 108 people, I believe. If the Villages does anything, it’s done right. Everything is top of the line: ceiling fans, two-inch verticals. Anything that’s necessary is immediately taken care of. The halls are fabulously furnished, and the rooms have nine-foot ceilings. Everything is just gorgeous. The staff is qualified for their positions but it takes time for everybody to get the hang of things. They have people that come here and entertain us. We’re going to see a play on Sunday at one of the recreation centers, and we get to go see their final rehearsal. They’re going to bus us over there, which don’t have to pay for. We have exercise, and they take us out. There will be more things to come as they get more people here. I have almost 800 sq.ft. with two full bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. They have one-bedrooms and studios. They will have the memory care, independent living, and rehab, that way you can just stay here and move from one to the other.
