My cousin moved into HarborChase of Villages Crossing. I chose it because of its licensing and the fact that they have nurses on duty 24 hours a day. It's light and airy, and it doesn't look like a hospital. It's comfortable and I like their activities. Her apartment is small but pleasant. I have not tried their food, but my cousin likes it. She's interested in all sorts of activities that they have. They have a variety of different programs, from poetry to different exercise programs, and games. Some of them are intellectual, some are physical, some are just for fun, and they're all good. This facility is not perfect, but it's good. With everything at this point in time, they could always use more staffing. But the staff that they have is very good and very pleasant. They also allow pets, which is a plus.

Harbor Chase of Villages Crossing is probably number three on our list as far as how we rate the three that we toured. It was not bad at all. It was not as elegant as the other two places. It was good. The tour guide was very friendly, but not as vivacious as the other two. The rooms were very well put together, and the dining rooms were nice. Everything was very nice, but I would rate the other two a little bit higher. I think the appliances were all part of the facility. You can bring your own microwave, but they all have refrigerators.

HarborChase of Villages Crossing is a beautiful facility. It is an excellent home. We were very pleased with all the facilities there. The care was excellent, so everything was good. The staff was excellent, very knowledgeable, and helpful. We looked at several different floor plans, and they appeared to be very adequate. We liked what we saw.

HarborChase of Villages Crossing was nice and clean. Everybody was pleasant and nice, but they had a different way of doing things. They had a point system for the food. They had some upgraded restaurants. The tour was lovely. We looked at the 1-bedroom apartment and it was lovely. They had a courtyard and a library. They had bingo. They were playing cards when we got there.

HarborChase of Villages Crossing smelled like a nursing home. Their dining area was nice though, and when I went in there they were having some kind of entertainment in the lobby. A lot of the residents were sitting there as people were coming and going, and there was music playing. It seemed to be very busy, but without the right place for activities to take place, it was very uncomfortable. The rooms were tiny. The room that was shown to me could only fit one bed and one sofa in the little living space. There was no way two people were going to get around with walkers and wheelchairs. It was just very tiny.

HarborChase of Villages Crossing had all the services that we would need. The room they showed us had a little sitting room with a little kitchen area. It also had a separate large bedroom and a very nice large bath. So, the room was excellent. The assistant marketing director was very nice, very accommodating, very friendly, and very helpful. The facility looked impressive as you drove up to it. It had a large covered porch in a shady area and you walk into a nice, large area that's very homey. It had a little snack bar at the end of it. They got fresh flowers on the table and people sitting around reading the newspaper or having a snack. There was a door from there out to a little patio. The facilities were clean. They were pleasant to look at and we got very good vibes there. We just haven't heard back from them yet. They told me they were going to call me, but they did not.

HarborChase of Villages Crossing was clean and neat. The rooms were of nice sizes. They had activities for their residents. They had a library and a nice dining room. The staff who assisted me during the tour was nice, very friendly, and very helpful. I tried their food and it was fine. They had a very nice courtyard with a little water fountain there. You could have access from the dining room or from the hallway, and it was all enclosed so nobody could disappear.

My first impression of my tour at HarborChase of Villages Crossing was that the facilities were bright, pleasant, and modern. It looked very spacious, and when you went into the lobby, it looked very welcoming. Afew people were sitting around who looked happy and chatting at tables. The food smelled good, and certainly, everyone I had contact with was very positive and polite. They had a game room, they had a bar, which is kind of a lounge area, and they had they have multiple group areas where people could congregate. I saw the wellness center, and the exercise room, everything was nice with big windows, and lots of natural light. It looked like a very cheerful place to be and they seemed to try to actively engage all of their clients there. Everyone was very thorough, and polite, and interacted with all the clients there from the little bit I saw. The facilities looked wonderful and everything was kept up well. If I had that level of need, it would have been a good place to go.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about HarborChase and the staff that works there. Having experienced other facilities in The Villages areas, HarborChase far exceeds our other experience. The staff is attentive and caring. There are multiple checks during the day by staff and they ensure that residents eat. The ratio of staff to residents seems to be smaller than other homes in the area. The security on the memory care side was very impressive. Special shout outs to Charlene and Angie who did everything to make my father's arrival and stay comfortable for my father and my family. While these are not ideal circumstances, I am so grateful for their care and attention to our needs.

HarborChase of Villages Crossing has been great. There are many people that work there, from administration to the staff, who are very caring, and who do their job very well. I've been very pleased with the care that they've been providing for my mother. Her room is very nice. She's in their assisted living and she said the food is good. The person who runs the kitchen, the chef there, is also awesome. They have a lot of activities. They have a schedule that they give to the residents each day. My mother goes to exercise class every morning at 9:30, which she really enjoys. There are other assorted activities throughout the day, like trivia activities, live music, and various other things. The activities are really good. They have a beauty salon and the person who does my mother's nails is awesome and loves her job. Her name is Kelly and she's great, very friendly, very caring, really good at what she does, and takes really good care of my mom. The hair salon person is also very good. She has my mom on her regular schedule and takes care of her hair well. My whole family is really pleased with how much they care about her. I would like to make a special mention to Chuck too, who really does a lot there. The administrator, Mark, has been awesome as well. The front desk people and the nursing staff are also wonderful.

Mom and I visited both HarborChase facilities in The Villages. They are both beautiful and well run. We met with Angela in HarborChase of Villages Crossings. She answered all our questions, showed us rooms that were available, and treated us to a delicious meal. The place was outstanding and the residents we met seemed very happy. They have a chef who oversees all the meals, amenities galore for the residents including personal transportation within a limited proximity, housekeeping, and so much more.

I ended up choosing HarborChase of Villages Crossing because it was suggested, and it was very close to me, about five minutes. It was a very beautiful place, however, the care was the worst I've ever seen. I would never recommend it to anyone. My mom was a resident there. She was not getting cared for properly. She was incontinent, they were never changing her, the nurses' aides were very rude and very rough. The rooms were very nice, they completely re-did the room, put in new carpeting, because there was a very bad urine smell from the resident before, and the rooms were actually very, very nice. The food was OK. The problem was staffing, my mother was covered with bruises all the time, they were rough with her, they were shamed, when they came in and she was wet, they'd say "Oh, I can't believe you're wet again!" That's why I moved her.

I got my wife over at HarborChase of Villages Crossing. She was moved there a little over a week ago. The fact that they're right across the street from the hospital had a bearing on why I chose it. The people seem very nice. They are very capable of handling whatever problems my wife has been having and will be having. The room is very nice and very comfortable. I have seen a number of activities that they have. They have a safari hunt where they use pictures of animals and foam rubber darts to shoot at animals. They have cards, and they have exercise in the dementia wing where they all got to put together and glue together small turkeys that they could give to their grandchildren. There are activities there. Food has been pretty good. The first day that she was there, I was there late enough and I actually got to have dinner with them and the food was decent. It isn't a top brand restaurant where you get steaks, but the food is tasty and there seems to be enough of it to fill a person up. I know it's a lot of money. It all depends on how my wife does as to whether it's worth the value or not. She is in memory care with assisted living on the side.

My husband will be going to HarborChase of Villages Crossing. So far, it has been wonderful. I have been there before to visit people and I had a good feeling about the place. Everybody seemed quite friendly there. One factor is the apartment he's going into is quite nice and then it has an outside balcony. I think there's still activities because I see them posted in the elevator and in the entrance. I don't think they have a swimming pool but they have an exercise room. Outside is very pretty. The surrounding area is very nice.

We are heartbroken from our experience with this facility. My mother was placed here in memory care after much research in this area. She was a fall risk and we stressed this when we turned her care over to them. She was there eight days, she fell three times, two requiring hospitalization. The third time she died. All of these falls occurred on second shift. The staff on day shift watched her and were gentle with her. I was there on both shifts and you could detect a different attitude on second shift. I want to say Vonisha and Jazz were wonderful with her on day shift I guess this goes to show you cannot be to careful when you place your loved one is in someone else's hands. No one from that facility has even called or reached out to offer condolences. She died on Saturday and we arrived to clean her room out on Monday at 9Am and no one even knew she had passed away, which means they dumped her at the hospital and didn't followup. Everything at this facility looked wonderful, what was inside was terrible.

I liked HarborChase of Villages Crossing very much, but they do not take Medicaid. It was very beautiful and they had a bar when you come in. The staff and the residents were very nice. They had a chapel and gave us cookies when we left. The cafeteria was very nice. They were playing trivia while I was there.

I am perfectly happy here at HarborChase. I think it is a wonderful place. I have absolutely no objections with anyone or about anything that they are doing here. The staff treats me wonderfully. I am taking all three meals, but I skip a meal once in a while.

I was at HarborChase, but I really would not recommend it to anybody. The staff was horrible, and the management was hypocritical. The rooms were very nice. They had a lot of activities and music. It’s a clean and organized, but the treatment of the staff was really horrible.

HarborChase of Villages Crossings was very nice but really busy. It had two floors, and the people that I talked to were very nice and very informative, but the fee was a little higher compared to other places. The rooms seemed to be nice.

For some reason this place cannot keep staff. In the short time it has been open, it has had at least 5 administrators. The staff is run ragged. Often, there is no nurse in the building for an entire shift. They do hand out the residents pills, but this is usually not done by a nurse. It seems that this place is more concerned with looking like a vegas resort than providing consistent care.

We went to HarborChase for my brother-in-law and liked it. It was exceptional, convenient, and would have been the first choice. The programs for patients were very good. The meal plans and the meals themselves, the general support, the nature, and the size of the rooms were attractive.

I did not get an official tour of HarborChase, because the marketing person was gone by the time I went over there. However, I did have a wonderful person who happened to be the chef for the place. He took me over to see the memory-care part of the facility. He didn't have to do it, but it was very kind of him to do that. HarborChase seemed like a very nice facility. The assisted living would be 5 and the memory care would be between 3 and 4. Their rooms were very small, and there were not much storage or closet space. It did not have an apartment-like look to it. It was just a bedroom, a bathroom, and closet space. However, the dining area was fabulous. The dining area looked very nice.

I visited Harbor Chase of the Villages, and it was a very nice place, just very expensive. The rooms and apartments were very nice. It's a pretty new facility. The residents looked happy and busy. Overall, it's a very nice place.

HarborChase was very nice, but it was a little bit more glitzy, and that's not my mother. She is 87, and she is more down to earth. However, the dining room was pretty. It was a beautiful place if you're more self-sufficient, and it looked very nice, but it was not what we're looking for. We were looking for more of a homey-feeling type facility, but I didn't get that feeling there. It was a pretty facility, but it was not a homey feeling.

I love HarborChase. They were the sweetest people. They have ice cream parlors and a wine bar; they have it all. But for us, it came down to cost as they are about 1000 dollars more money, and we couldn’t afford it. The staff who showed us around was topnotch. She was amazing. The rooms were very nice. They have a top floor and lower floor and a huge dining room. They have some rooms with a little patio on them. It was very nice, but we couldn’t afford it.

We went to HarborChase. That was a very nice place, and the food was very good. We didn't have lunch, but they had a wine and cheese party as entertainment for the residents. We met some of the residents, and it was lovely. Everybody was nice. But we felt that the residents were too young for her. It is a very nice place. We did get a chance to see the rooms there, and they were lovely. The rooms were really nice with its own bathroom and kitchenette.

Very receptive people at Harbor Chase of Villages Crossing, very clean, very nice staff. All they had were one-bedroom apartments, and those were a little high for what my mother can afford. I didn't try the food, but I met the chef, and he was really nice. They have an open oven which is very unique, and they have a private dining room where you could eat with your family and have a party.

My husband is a resident in HarborChase. The facility is new; they’ve only been open since February. The people who take care of the residents are very caring, and it’s only 2 minutes from my house. It’s right across the street from the hospital. Everything is clean and very well kept. The food is very good. I only go in the afternoon but they have exercises, mind games, and parties. He would rather be home, but he’s fine.

I visited Harbor Chase Villages, and I planned to move there by the end of April. It was very new and just opened up last week. I liked the idea that it was very near where we live now. The people that I talked to were in the administrative area and not in the area of care. I looked at several rooms there. They were small but big enough for me. They had a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. I had tried some of the foods, and they were very good. They had a schedule of activities, but I had not seen them.
