I chose Lady Lake Senior Living for my dad because it was close to the house for me to go back and forth. The people were nice and friendly. They even helped me get furniture for the room. The cost is reasonable. He got a private room, no roommates or anything. It was a nice, big, and spacious bathroom. They do some arts and crafts, some sing-alongs, and stuff like that. They do have a courtyard for the patients to go out and it's all enclosed but they still get their fresh air, and they have an activity director there.

I will be moving into Lady Lake Senior Living. It's fairly close to the VA where I go for my doctoring, and they'll accept me for what I can pay right now until I can get a third party to help me pay. It's a very large place. I chose a three-room suite, and I love it. I met a lot of new people. They have beautiful, big hallways. It is totally clean. All the staff is very pleasant and very knowledgeable about what's going on. I just enjoy talking to the people there. I talked to the chef because I'm on a special diet due to the heart valve they implanted in me. I became food allergic and he said that he could cook for me and no problem. I have three rooms. I have a bedroom and I'm taking all my own furniture except the VA is furnishing me with a bed. I've got two recliners that will be in the sitting room. The sitting room has two windows looking out into a beautiful wooded field, and the bedroom has one window. I'll have a desk in the sitting room and a couple of pieces of furniture. I bought myself a small TV. I'll have everything I need. They serve three meals plus snacks every day. They do everything. They take care of it for me. I have not tried the food, but I've talked to some of the people who live there, and they said the food is excellent. They have a barber shop and a lady comes in once or twice a month. They have craft rooms. They have a movie room. They have a library. They have plenty of stuff for you to do. They have an exercise room. I love the place. I have never seen a place that large with that many people that was that clean. I've seen some hotels that couldn't even come halfway to that place. They're very, very nice people. The place is excellent. My private bathroom is large, and it is 15 feet by 15 feet. It's got an eight-foot shower that I can go in, in a wheelchair if I need to. It couldn't be any nicer for what I'm paying.

Our mother is in Lady Lake Senior Living. She's in memory care. We're about 50% satisfied. They're very slow about getting their residents on schedule for, like, bathing, laundry, and cleaning their rooms. I found out yesterday that my mom hadn't even been put on the schedule for a shower and she had not been put on the schedule for doing her laundry. We're in our third week. The staff is good. I have not had any complaints about either the nurses or the caregivers. I don't believe it's their fault for the issues about the bathing and the shower or the laundry. It's got to be management for those things or whoever handles it. The rooms are nice. It's a varied menu. They get a meat, two vegetables, then a dessert. There are no salads or anything beforehand or cottage cheese or anything, but it is adequate. They have an activities room and their own dining room. They have a lady who comes in every afternoon after lunch until 6:00 and she does games and crafts and different things. The atmosphere is good, not excellent, not even above good.

Lady Lake Senior Living was very nice. I felt that the clients were taken care of better there than in the other place I toured. I liked the staff, and it was very clean. It was a smaller facility which I liked. I just thought that my husband is going to get a little more attention there. They have a computer room, a library, and an outside area or courtyard where they could go and sit. It was very welcoming when you walked in.

Lady Lake Senior Living was my favorite. They had a lovely courtyard. I liked the floor plan of the facility. It was clean and updated, and the staff was very nice. They had a nice cafeteria and we did have lunch there with the tour guide by the name of Greg. The food was very good. The service was good and you had a nice selection. They had lots of activities. Card games were going on. They had bingo, exercise classes, and therapy. Some of that was going on while we were there.

My mom has lived at Lady Lake Senior Living for three years now and is so very happy! Even with Covid, staff turnover and a couple of ownership changes, the quality of the staff has remained top notch! Mom is always greeted warmly whenever she encounters a staff member and the fact that they know her, her likes, and are always willing to go above and beyond for her is so heartwarming. Mom is in the “Assisted Living” wing, but as her friends are moved to Memory Care, she is welcome to go visit them and participate in their activities! The activities director plans wonderful activities that keep Mom having fun all day long with exercise, music, art, games, birthday and holiday celebrations! My mom always raves about the food and how she can’t wait to go and enjoy her meals. If you are looking for a place for yourself or for a loved one, I highly recommend you go by Lady Lake Senior Living for a tour and see for yourself!

I did a tour of Lady Lake Senior Living. It was a great experience. They were very personable there and answered any questions we had; it was very well-informed. They had like three or four types of rooms, and every one of them was beautiful. They let the people that stay there decorate in the hallways right by their doors so that they can enjoy each season or whatever. Everyone that we ran into seemed like they were very upbeat and happy, even the residents seemed like they were very happy there. They have courtyards. My mom has a dog, and they have a little dog area outside, like a courtyard-type area for dogs. It's very pet friendly. The person who gave us the tour was excellent, and he's the executive director there.
