The staff are very responsive and attentive and caring. The facility is clean and the grounds are pretty. The food is okay but my dad was on a salt restricted diet so they were great about following that.

The attention to detail is horrible. A patient who is under care from major heart surgery should not be given a ham & cheese sandwich with chips for lunch. My mother was also left for 8 days after being moved there, with sores on her head, before they ATTEMPTED to treat the problem. The last straw was being diagnosed with pneumonia again but in reality, it was congestive heart failure. This was one day after a nurse practitioner checked her breathing and said it was fine. I cannot speak for others I'm just putting this out for people to see. Hopefully it may help someone.

Service varies from 0 - 10. Some excellent others horrible. Very inconsistent. Rooms warm. Food varies and usually missing something you ordered. Ran out of soda and bacon

I have an Aunt that was a patient at Cambridge and I would like to commend all the staff, especially the nurse, Colleen who always went over and above to insure the comfort and ease during her stay!

My father is currently a patient there. The amount of time he has had to wait for someone just to help him go to the bathroom is ridiculous. At first we were not sure if he was just exaggerating it, but then a few times we have witnessed it for ourselves. Last night he pressed the call button because he had to go to the bathroom. It took over 25+ minutes for someone to come help, and then we were given an attitude about it at first. Often unfriendly, with the exception of a few. The only thing that keeps us there is the fact that the therapy is great. He loves his therapists and they are very eager to see him succeed. Unsure if this facility is understaffed, or they just do not care...but the response time definitely needs to be addressed.

My mom was in Cambridge for at least 6 years on the dementia floor. She had excellent care. She was always clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful and compassionate.

I entered Cambridge for a short-term stay after hip replacement surgery. I checked out after one day after receiving no care and witnessing the poor care given to my roommate who was in great distress. Aside from the poor service and exceptionally poor food, the facility is old and outdated. The bed was uncomfortable as was the chair, and the décor is circa 1980. The room phone service is outdated and calls beyond local calls were impossible to make which meant I couldn’t place a call to my children’s cell phones. In addition, cell phone service was spotty at best. Brown paper towels pulled from a silver dispenser in the bathroom added to my dissatisfaction. Don’t know how this place received such high ratings.

I am very impressed with the service, the quality and the friendliness of Cambridge Manor. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an assisted living facility as I can sleep well at night knowing my grandmother is in excellent care. I appreciate the hospitality and I am happy they go above and beyond the requirements of living as they offer entertainment for the elderly which is appropriate and fun. I look forward to going every week not only to vist my grandmother but also to see all the people. I have been going for years and I have never been disappointed.

My aunt was referred to Cambridge Manor after a hospital stay for physical therapy. She was admitted to their short stay rehab program called Passport. I visited her at the end of her stay to see what her impressions were. I found the location clean and pleasant. It was brightly colored and there were residents moving freely throughout the facility.Upon meeting with my Aunt, I found her in good spirits and feeling much better than the last time I had seen here (prior to her hospitalization). She reported that she was very pleased with the facility and their level of expertise. She is very critical of hospitals and health care providers, so for her to be giving out praise is rare. She said she had been receiving therapy twice a day for the duration of her stay and she was able to move around without assistance now. While I was present she got out of her chair and used the bathroom independently, which has never happened before. Based on what I saw from my visit and the positive reports my Aunt gave, I have no reservations about recommending this facility to others.
