My mother was at Ludlowe Center for Health and Rehabilitation. It was very, very nice. It had a homey atmosphere. It was clean, too. The staff was good. They showered her every day, and they gave her physical therapy every other day. The facility itself, the people, the staff, and all that were excellent. For activities, they had little sources of entertainment. They had people come in and sing, play games, and dance. They had activities. The food looked pretty good to me. However, the way they discharged my mother, they didn't send her out with her meds. And they dragged their feet discharging her. I didn't like the discharge. Nevertheless, anything other than the discharge, I was very impressed with Ludlowe. The staff was phenomenal. I think they were good value.

There is a problem with complete meals being delivered. Been here for 8 days for rehab, I received Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. Not one was delivered complete . Usually 3-4 orders items missing. Tonight 5 items were missing. Nurses tell me it’s common. So if you don’t care about this then no problem.

My dad went to Ludlow for rehab. Rehab consisted of 15 minutes of physical therapy a day, if that. Inattentive staff. The nurse supervisor (whatever her title was) was rude and dismissive of our concerns. My mom wanted to stay overnight and they wouldn’t let her. My dad died within 5 days of being admitted to Ludlow.

My mom is in Ludlowe Center for Health and Rehabilitation for rehab. It's a very nice facility. It's very clean. The staff is very attentive, and they're very helpful. It's not your typical nursing home. It's a lot nicer than that. It's more homey. My mother seems to be OK with the food. She's in physical therapy every day. I'm not here when they do that, but they're trying to get her up, moving, walking, and stuff. Her room is very nice. It's clean, and it doesn't look like a hospital room or anything.

I liked Ludlowe Center for Health and Rehabilitation. It was the closest to where I live, so I liked that. She said there was no availability, but it just seemed nice, clean, and bright. The staff seemed quite nice.

ludlowe center cares about their clients. The lady in the front office greets everyone and is always willing to make things right. The rooms are clean and beautiful. Some people complain about the food but I thought it was great. A great safe facility.

My mother has had several illnesses over the years which have resulted in a stay at Ludlowe. It is with 100% certainty that I can report that this staff and facility is beyond the best. I spoke with several other patient family members that told me sad stories of different experiences with other rehab facilities in the area. I assured each and every one that they would not have to deal with those issues at Ludlowe. The staff took care of my mother’s rehabilitation and even my emotional needs like we were like family. Deb, Gigi, Christelle, Lynette, Sheeah, Diana, Claudia, Meny, Denise, Chris, Amanda, Bing, Ben...the list goes on and on. You are amazing people. I would give 500 stars if I could. We miss you already!

Very caring, warm, attentive & efficient staff of nurses, aids & administrators.. Lots of 1st rate entertainment for patients well organized by their social director Tina (sometimes enhanced by their truly yummy frosted cupcakes). However, the meals leave a lot to be desired according to most residents we've talked to. Often inedible, cold "hot" meals, undercooked beans & soups & entrees described as long deceased combined with a lack of choice makes the meals the only drawback to this lovely facility. They need cooks that know how to cook, nutritionists/meal planners that know how to make meals something to look forward to and a way to get "hot" meals to all the floors. Hospitals serve delicious meals with choices. Why can't Ludlow? We're convinced that even without extra costs enjoyable food can be served every day. Would you want your parents or grandparents to eat what the residents eat? Would you eat it? No wonder staff bring in their own food. Ludlow is a good place. We know you can make it great.
Provider Response
We are thrilled to hear about our caring and attentive staff – especially singling out Tina from the Recreation Department in our “lovely facility.” However, we were surprised to hear that our dining services department did not meet your expectations. We will discuss your concerns immediately with our team and work to improve the meal presentation, quality, temperature and choice for you and all of our residents. If you wouldn’t mind, we would like the opportunity to speak with you further so we may find out more about where we need to improve. Please contact us directly at your earliest convenience. We hope to make the necessary improvements to make your next review a 5 Star one!

My mother has been living the for three and a half years. I visit her every day. Generally, she recieves good service there. For example, sometimes she is eating when I arrive and she likes the food a great deal. There is a variety of foods available and they tailor the meal to the needs of each patient. The nurses do a good job of assisting those who need help with feeding themselves. The staff has been generally curteous and friendly to me during my visits. I've seen my mother recieve physical therapy here and I was happy to see that they were helping my mother regain some leg strength after a recent hospital stay.If I had to say anything negative abhout the location, it would be that I have observed nurses on occasion not being very responsive to toileting needs and they sometimes take a while to respond to call lights. Recently, they have also been renovating the parking making it difficult for me to visit.
