My husband is at Edgehill. They have lovely grounds. The people are fabulous, very nice, and kind. It is a very nice place. The staff members are wonderful. The food is excellent. I like everything about it. The management and nurses are lovely. My husband had a stroke, and they have him up and walking. I think he's doing well there. The rehab facility has single rooms, and they are very clean.

My mother stayed in Edgehill for 15 years. She was in independent living and she ended up having hospice care in her apartment at the end. We were very happy with it. She loved it. I wanted her to come home and live with me, but she didn't want to. She wanted to stay there. It was very clean and the staff was great. The food was great. They had good social activities. It was very expensive, but it was good all around. We moved her into a different apartment the last year of her life because she had Parkinson's and we had to pay caregivers to come in. She started in independent and was there for 13 years and then the last couple of years, she was in assisted living. We had no complaints. She loved it. The facility was beautiful and very clean. They were friendly. They had everything. They had tai-chi, swimming, all kinds of activities, physical and mental stuff, and a good young girl was leading stuff and they were well attended. The price was commensurate with the care they got. You had to buy in, then the family gets back 80% or 90% or something of it when they sell it. You pay a big chunk every month for services and stuff on top of it and that makes it pretty expensive to buy-in. The apartments were beautiful. The physical building was very nice.

I am a resident of Edgehill and needed their skilled nursing rehabilitation after a total knee replacement. Compared to other similar facilities in the area, Edgehill provides the best care in my experience. The physical therapists addressed my needs and were able to help me on my way to recovery. The aids were very helpful in providing personalized care. The Customer Service Manage was lovely, caring and kind.

My mother was in Edgehill for rehab. The care depends on the nurse on duty. I wasn't 100% satisfied, and I think they tried, but I don't think there was enough information when you go in. There was a lot we weren't informed of when we first moved into the place. I didn't feel she was bathed, the one who was the best was the one in charge of entertainment. They did their best, but we were glad to be out there, and on our own. There wasn't enough variety of food.

My step mom has lived here for about seven years, and generally, Edgehill is fine. But I witnessed a very disturbing interaction with another resident. While at the gym today, a very infirmed man had trouble and was in pain to the point of nearly fainting. I asked if he needed help since he could barely stand even with a walker. I looked around the Ground floor for help, but there was no one. I recommended that he press his emergency pendent, which he did. No one came. After five minutes, still no one came. More time passed. Still no one. I decided to go upstairs to the main desk to say someone needed help in the gym. They said they were aware of the emergency call but could not locate him. I then went downstairs and noticed a woman had finally arrived. However, she was rude, and ignored his request for a wheelchair, and began for forcefully push him backwards on his walker. When he mentioned his frustration about not being found after pushing the pendent, she just responded, "I'm here now." I said she arrived only because of me notifying the front desk, and she again slightly angrily repeated her statement. I was appalled at her attitude, but more importantly, her ignoring his request for a wheelchair, which he clearly needed. I went upstairs to reflect what I witnessed and to complain. I was then introduced to a manager. I said that I would hate to have my 84 year old mother treated this way if she had an emergency.

I was at Edgehill. It was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. The social worker was extraordinary. It was very nice. The building itself was clean, nice, and neat. It was a wonderful experience. They have physical and occupational therapy. They offer other things, but I didn't want to do them at that time. The staff members were very courteous. They took care of you. They're always watching out for you. If you call for somebody, they come right away. The food was good too.

I visited Edgehill. In fact, I spent a weekend there. It is up-to-date. It looks more like a hotel than a nursing home. They have top-of-the-line facilities. It is very upscale. They have one floor for rehabilitation. They have everything there, and everything is first class. The cost is very high. If you want to buy a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom place, before you go in, you have to have a downpayment, and 90% of that amount is refunded to your heirs when you pass away. The activities are the same as all the others. I didn't partake into many of them, but they have lots of activities. The place is ship-shape and spotless. You would think you're staying at the Ritz Carlton. I imagine the services are good, but the only thing I did is eat and sleep there. The food was very good and top-notch. The staff that I came into contact with was mostly the waiters and the people who clean the apartment, but I would give them a five.

We visited Edgehill, it was very lovely and the apartments were larger than the other community we saw. It was very nice, but you have to buy-in, and that's too expensive for us. It's a very upscale kind of place. The person that assisted us was very good and very helpful. They had an exercise room and craft room, and the layout was very well thought out.

Edgehill is probably more expensive and is more country-club oriented than the others. All the apartments are large and very nice. Edgehill has nice surroundings. It is a larger facility, a newer place, and everything is up-to-date. They have more modern facilities of everything, and it is probably the most expensive of all.

The greatest hurtle came when leaving the facility. This produced only a slow to - no response from Ownership to the agreed terms and efforts in re- selling the unit. In short care level is good, the financial and administrative level is just acceptable.
