Northern city Ogden averages a more expensive $3,588. State capital Salt Lake City has the highest assisted living prices in the entire state. At $3,700, it is $500 per month more expensive than Utah County. Costs can be similar in neighboring Nevada, where Las Vegas averages $3,525. In Reno, assisted living has an average cost of $3,750 per month. On the opposite border, Colorado’s costs are a little more expensive, with Grand Junction averaging $3,995 and capital city Denver averaging $4,850.
