The Lodge at Jordan River was difficult to find and it was tucked back into a business complex. We had made the appointment and when we got there, they told us they were not giving tours, that the appointment wasn't being honored so it kind of irritated us. We were there on Memorial Day. The one who showed us was the assistant director. They just seemed short staffed and she was kind of frazzled and restless. That was kind of a worry that they wouldn't have enough attention for my father, but she was pleasant and kind. It smelled like urine in the hallway we were walking down, so that was kind of a turn-off for us. Other than that, the floor looked clean.

I have been to The Lodge at Jordan River twice. I even took my mom there and she likes it. The people that are in there for the facility itself have been exceptionally competent in what they've been talking about, explaining it, and showing it. The only thing I had a problem with was that they didn't disclose the amount that we were going to be dealing with at the time of moving. I like the fact when you come in the door, they all meet with you. They walked up, said hello, and introduced themselves. They were willing to take you around even if it wasn't part of their option right there at that point. If they needed somebody to step in because that person had to step away, somebody else was willing to step up to it, which is what I like. So they were all willing to help, like walk around with you and show you stuff. They even introduced you to some of the people that live there, so that you would be able to talk to them. They were very personable and easy to talk to. The place is very clean. It seems to be well organized. They seem to take pride in how their facility looks.
