Our House is small. They only have about eight people there who were residents. They did go all the way through the hospice care. There were three people on duty, so not a lot of people. They home cooked the meals. If the residents wanted something different, they would try to make them something else, so they try to meet their dietary needs. I think the care was good. The rooms weren't big, but they were adequate. I thought it was quite a pleasant place for dad.

The staff already knows what my friend likes, her preferences and opinions. And they're not afraid to talk to her, which can not be said of all assisted living facilities. It's an endeavor which requires patience, but it's worth the effort. I like the genuine compassion of the staff and the friendly, easy way they have with the residents.
