My mother has lived at Beehive Homes of Draper for four years and I could not be more pleased. It is a small facility, each patient has their own room and private bath, They have always responded quickly and appropriately to mother's needs, They have given us excellent counsel when we asked, protected our privacy, and provided comfort. The facility is convenient, always clean, and comfortable. I cannot think of one thing to suggest or criticize. I hope they are still around when I need memory care!

About Assisted Living of Draper in Draper, Utah
Welcome to Assisted Living of Utah
Assisted Living of Utah is a totally new concept in assisted living, in which the state inspectors rated our Assisted Living of Draper facility as the #1 facility in Utah out of over 200 facilities. Mom &/or Dad now have the option to live in a Residential style Assisted Living Home that is family friendly, affordable, and most of all easy to transition to because it feels and looks like a Home, not a place where it feels like they will spend the rest of their life in a Hospital, Hotel, or Institution Type facility.
Assisted Living of Utah is growing, and is in the process of building many residential style homes located all across the state of Utah. Each luxury home has a master chef who will prepare delicious home cooked meals, Registered Nurses and CNAs who provide the best of care, and activities theyll look forward to (and that also serve as Therapy, shhh -but dont let them know!). We have Nurse Call Necklace Buttons (which we refer to as Room Service buttons) and pull chords in the bathrooms. Nearly every suite also has a small kitchenette to make them fee right at home (so they can have that 2am soda they crave, freezer jam, or save their left over birthday cake for later).
We have a wonderful bus that we have taken residents on weekly outings to things like: Senior Citizen Centers, Shopping, Nature Tours, Tulip Festivals, Christmas Tree Lights, Chuck-a-Rama, etc. Each Assisted Living of Utah luxury home is Family Friendly with a gym/playroom for your grandchildren that includes activities such as ping pong, video games, Wii, play equipment, and much more. We want your family to look forward to visiting Mom &/or Dad as much as possible, while at the same time making these visits pleasant for you too.
Our Master Chef is always encouraging family & friends to come and eat with Mom & Dad as well. We fix 3 extra meals at every meal, just in hopes of someone coming to visit (If you dont come visit, we are just going to have to waste a wonderful gourmet meal!). If you have a few people coming, just let us know, and we can accommodate them for free too! Come visit us to experience this new concept in assisted living.

Assisted Living of Draper are very friendly, they never leave my husband's room without asking if there's something more they can do for him, which is a very nice thing. The staff was all very pleasant; they are all doing a good job. His room is a little crowded, but maybe it's because we've put more furniture than we should have. It is clean. The grounds are beautiful; they have pets in the back such as goats and turkey. It's 4 minutes from my house, so that was the major factor. They had a woman playing the piano to entertain them, they have bingo, and they have church on Sundays. We went to the aquarium on the little bus that they have.

Assisted Living of Draper was OK and seemed like a really good home, but I just didn’t get the feeling that I wanted to go there. It was a nice home in a nice neighborhood. It seemed fine, but I just didn’t think it offered enough assistance. It was so small; I think there were about six or seven people there. I didn’t see nursing assistants going around. And maybe there were more, but I just didn’t see them during that day. It was a nice home. The rooms were individual rooms, just a bedroom. One thing I didn’t like about the room was it didn’t have a bathroom in it.

Assisted Living of Draper was brand new, so everything was very nice. They had a few rooms that were not completed yet and they would complete them if they had someone that’s going to live in them. The staff was very nice and very kind.

Assisted Living of Draper was like a group home in a residential area. Each resident has a different bedroom. I only live a couple blocks from it, but I would not choose this community because I wouldn't feel comfortable in such a homey atmosphere. You can bring your family or your grandkids and play and eat there, but that would not be to my liking. It is too close for comfort. My mom is very social, but with her dementia, I don't believe that would be the case anymore. It was too community-oriented. They had separate bathrooms for each bedroom, and it was a lovely, big home, but it wouldn't serve my mother if her memory really flipped. She would need to be in a more secure situation.

This facility is actually a upgraded residential home with a wonderful staff. All of the rooms are private and come with TV and 24hr care from the staff. The staff includes a chef that prepares all of the in-home meals. He was able to take into consideration the food allergies of our friend which was essential. The grounds are well maintained and the home has many covered porches to enjoy the outdoors when weather permits. The inside of the house is well laid out and always kept clean and fresh smelling. They have a very full activity schedule that includes going to the movies, eating out, going fishing and other outdoor activities, beauty treatments, and just general fun with the residents and joint fun with other homes in the area. Never a dull moment unless you want one. This is how assisted living should be done to let people live their lives in dignity.

The facility is absolutely gorgeous, very home-like and comfortable. My friend there really enjoys the activities. They have something every day, whether it's shopping or playing games or having a salon day. Especially the salon day. She said it makes her feel young and pretty, and everybody of all ages need to feel that occasionally.
