Games, exercise classes, arts and crafts, dancing, day trips and holiday parties are just a few of the regularly scheduled activities. Transportation can be arranged to and from the Center for members who don’t drive. There’s a small annual fee to become a member of the Center, but it covers all programs unless otherwise noted. Nutritious meals are served for lunch on weekdays.


Georgia's Assistive Technology Act Program, Tools for Life(404) 894-8000

Tools for Life is a statewide Assistive Technology Act Program that provides access to and help with getting assistive technology devices and services for anyone living in Georgia with any type of disability who would benefit from one of these devices. This program works in conjunction with the Three Rivers AAA to provide assistive devices to seniors in Carrollton and throughout Carroll County. Activities include AT assessments, funding, education, lending libraries and training for groups or individuals. It also operates an AT and durable medical equipment reuse program.

CADRE administers the West Ombudsman Program for the State LTC Ombudsman Office, which serves 18 counties including Carroll County. The LTC Ombudsman advocates for residents of long-term senior care facilities, including assisted living centers. It advocates for residents’ rights and addresses complaints made against LTC facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. Ombudsman staff and Certified Volunteer Ombudsmen informally investigate these complaints and attempt to resolve issues for residents.
